Academic Planning

Academic Planning - Future Planned Course Showing as Earned (SIS-177071)

Resolved an issue where future planned courses without a Term value were incorrectly displayed as Earned in Academic Planning.

Core Academic Program Assign and Status to include Inactive Students and End Dated Programs (SIS-190358)

In order to accommodate the need to identify students who have completed all requirements for any CTE program, including inactive students and students who are not currently assigned to a program they have completed requirements for, the following enhancements have been made:

Course Plan Administration - Update Student Status:

  • Added ability to include All Calendars for the selected context year
  • Added option to include end dated programs
  • Added option to include inactive students

The Batch Program Assignment Wizard now has the option to include inactive students with completed requirements in the selected context year.

SE - No GUIDs for Program Criteria: Causes Duplicate Program Criteria When the Name is Changed and Published (SIS-192971)

Changing the name of an existing Program Criteria at the State Edition level and publishing to districts was creating an additional criteria record at the district level. This has been corrected so that modifying criteria at the State Edition level does not create new criteria at the district level when published.

Unable to Edit GPA Calculation in Graduation Programs (SIS-193007)

Users were experiencing an issue that was preventing the editing of GPA calculations within the Academic and Graduation Programs tool. This has been resolved.

Asseessments

Mapping Columns Without Data During Import (SIS-175311)

When importing a file without selecting "Source File Includes Header" and with a column with no data, the tool auto-mapped the empty column to a database field. While this did not happen during the first upload/mapping, the issue appeared on subsequent uploads, causing unintended mappings. This issue has been resolved. The mapping ignores empty columns when not using headers for the original file and any subsequently uploaded files.

Score Fields Updated (SIS-191862)

The Score Fields section of the Assessment Center Test Detail was updated:

  • The 'Score Fields Selected' field was renamed 'Display on Student Assessment Page'.
  • A 'Reported Score Fields' searchable multiselect field was added under the Score Field section of the Assessment Center Test Detail. It allows users to indicate which score field(s) should be included in state reporting. The selected fields are included under 'Required Fields' in Step 3-Map Data and carry over when copying an assessment.

Note: The 'Reported Score Fields' option is currently only available for New York users.

Search Option Added to Publish Screen (SIS-192412)

The Assessment Center's publish function in State Editions now includes Kendo search capability to improve efficiency in publishing assessments to districts.

Minimum Value Field Allows Decimals (SIS-192743)

The 'Minimum Value' field in the Result / Proficiency Statuses section of the Assessment Center's Test Detail was updated to recognize and accept values that include decimals.

Behavior

Behavior Demerits Column (SIS-192514)

Updated the Demerits column in the Behavior Types table to not allow null values and updated existing Demerits data to have NULLs become 0s.

Campus Analytics Suite

Update to Early Warning Category Impact Scores (SIS-192977)

The following Enhancements have been made to Early Warning Impact Scores:

  • Category Impact Scores are now negative when exported to Excel. This matches the UI display.
  • Category Impact scores of 0 have been updated from displaying as "-0" to display as "0" in both the UI and Excel exports.

Campus Instruction

Deleting Assignment Marks (SIS-156347)

Assignment Marks have been updated so that if a set of marks is aligned to an assignment, it cannot be deleted.

Attendance Tool Upgrade (SIS-190678)

The Attendance tool in Instruction has been updated to improve the visual design and accessibility of the tool. Tabs at the top of the tool allow you to switch between the Attendance List and the Seating Chart. In the Attendance List, a Summary section displays at the top if Virtual Attendance is set up.

With this change, an option has been added to easily switch between Periods using the buttons on the right when Classroom is enabled. Previously, this option was not available if a teacher had the Classroom view enabled.

Additionally, taking attendance via the Teaching Center has been updated to make the experiences more consistent. When taking attendance in the Teaching Center, you now have the option of sticking with the narrower, mobile-friendly view, or toggling on the Extended View, which matches the design of the Attendance tool.

Instruction Tools - Go to Student Information (SIS-191847)

A link to "Go to Student Information" has been added to the student details side panel in various tools in Instruction that did not previously have this link. The link displays if the teacher has tool rights to any tools in Student Information > General. Clicking the link opens the Student Information menu in a new browser tab, where the teacher can select which tool they want to view based on their tool rights.

Assignments - Other Sections/Schedules - Course-Only Curriculum (SIS-192932)

The Other Sections/Schedules area of the assignment editor has been updated so that sections of courses marked as Course-Only Curriculum do not display in the list. Course-Only Curriculum is a Course Master-level setting that prevents teachers from aligning assignments from Course-Only sections to any other sections.

Campus Learning

New - Quiz Timers (SIS-191166)

An option has been added to Quiz Settings to set a Time Limit for a quiz. Teachers can also set a Warning Time to let students know when their time limit is approaching. Once a timer is enabled in the Quiz Settings, a teacher can individualize the timer and warning via the Section Settings of the assignment.

When a timer is set, it displays for students when they're working on a quiz. When the timer expires, the quiz is automatically submitted with whatever work the student has completed at that point.

Section Feeds - Hide Student Comments and Names (SIS-193066)

Logic has been updated to consistently apply the default setting to hide student names and comments from parents in a Section Feed, even if section-level settings haven't been saved.

Empty Non-Students and Quick Info Box on Campus Parent (SIS-192707)

Errors occurred during login to Campus Parent where empty Non-Students and Quick Info boxes appeared. These have been corrected.

Census

Household Location Records Cannot Be Deleted (SIS-192298)

An issue where users were unable to delete household location records through the user interface has been resolved. The delete button is now responsive and functions as expected.

Classroom Integrations

OneRoster - Imported Assignments (SIS-192125)

Assignments received via a OneRoster connection have been updated so that dates cannot be edited, either for the whole section or for individual students, when accessing the assignment from the Curriculum List. This logic was already in place in other areas of Instruction. Dates should be managed in the partner program, since any changes made in Campus will be overwritten each time the partner program syncs data.

Cross-Site Enrollment

Cross-Site Enrollment - Attendance Recorded at Home School Displays for Inactive Serving School Course (SIS-192330)

A student who is enrolled in a Cross-Site Enrollment course at a serving school for a future date or for a course that was dropped was still recorded as absent for that course. This has been corrected.

Home School attendance is sent to the serving schools for active courses only.

Custom Tool Setup - Update Parent Button Moved Under Menu Placement Area (SIS-192714)

The Update Parent button has been moved to live under the Menu Placement Area of the Edit Custom Tool Setup screen.

Classic Nav Fields Removed from SSRS Report Configuration (SIS-192748)

With the deprecation of Classic Campus, the following fields were removed from the SSRS Report Configuration tool:

  • Index Name (Classic nav)
  • Parent Tool (Classic nav)
  • Sequence (Classic nav)

Existing fields were also updated to no longer state (New nav).

Dependent Care

Dependent Care Updates (SIS-192515)

The following updates have been made to Dependent Care:

  • The Invoice Report has been updated to display schedule rates of $0.00.
  • A schedule display issue has been corrected so that upcoming, current, and previous schedules correctly display for a student.

SQL Performance Improvement for SIF StudentParticipation (SIS-181303)

An issue was resolved in the SIF StudentParticipation legacy framework, where data for all people in the school year was being inserted instead of for a specific person.

Updated the event triggering method to include personID, ensuring more efficient data handling in the SIF StudentParticipation object.

SIF Unity Event Queue Statistics Report (SIS-189637)

The Event Queue Statistics Report has been made available to allow users to view the total number of records inserted and the number of records processed over the past five days for SIF Unity.

State Edition DIS Object Trigger Updates – School and Schedule Objects (SIS-192056)

The logic for syncing the following database objects between the district and state editions has been updated to send data via a database event change, in addition to the existing syncing methods of forcing a manual sync or saving on the UI:

SIF Message History Update (SIS-192976)

The following updates have been made to the SIF Unity Message History tool:

  • Records in the report will sort with the newest records first.
  • The Status column has been updated to display ‘Success’ records by default, but users can filter on the Status to view ‘Failures’ as well.
  • Cosmetic updates to the User Interface have also been made.

SIF Deleter Tool Update (SIS-193059)

The Deleter tool has been updated to no longer check records in the SIFSentRecord database when sending a delete by RefId. The delete will be sent directly for the RefId. This update only affects RefId deletes.

Fees

Household and Individual Fee Maximum (SIS-192111)

Resolved an issue where Household Maximum Adjustments were not being applied when individual maximums were reached.

Food Service

Conditions POS Field Added (SIS-127936)

A new field, POS Display Health Comments (text displays on Point of Sale Terminal), was added to the student Conditions tool for Food Service users. Entered text displays on Food Service Terminals for the student, such as nut or fish allergies.

The POS Terminal must be updated to version 3.1.0 to display POS Display Health Comments.

POS Flag Start and End Date (SIS-160833)

Student Flag Start Date and End Date have been added to the POS terminal to determine if the status of the flag warning is valid without completing a data reload on the terminal.

Grading Setup

Push All Course Masters Failing for Large Number of Cross-Site Courses (SIS-192420)

Previously, the Push All Course Masters tool would fail when processing over 2000 courses marked to allow Cross-Site Enrollment. This has been corrected.

Added an automated cleanup process for Stripe pending payments, ensuring unprocessed payments are marked as CANCELED, completed payments are marked as COMPLETED, and credited to the correct categories (Fees, Food Service, School Store, Activity, Tuition, Dependent Care).

Note: This will only affect pending payments that happen after updating to version .2543. This will not retroactively correct previous pending payments.

The Section Information and Add Section tools have a new interface. Like the Course Information, Course Master Information, and other course-related tools, the available fields are now organized into the following "cards," which can be collapsed and expanded as needed.

  • General Section Information includes basic identifying information like the Section Number, Teacher Display Name, etc.
  • Section Setup Scheduling includes fields related to standards display, credits, LMS, and virtual setting.
  • State Defined lists all fields used for state reporting in your state.
  • District Defined lists any field your district has chosen to collect data on.
  • Section Placement displays when the section meets during the calendar terms and periods.

State Edition - Course Management Updates (SIS-190257)

The following updates have been made to the Course Management tool, available for State Edition.

  • State Course Codes can now be added to the Course Management tool. Previously, new codes needed to be imported into the database.
  • Copy and Delete functionality has been added.
  • A Status column has been added to see whether a code is Active, Inactive, or Unpublished.
  • State Course Codes are now organized by their Start Year, with the latest start year first.
  • Batch Edit functionality is now available to modify multiple State Course Codes at once.
  • The Course Number and Course Name Fields have been removed from the State Course Information cards.
  • The Course Management tool is available for state-linked District Edition sites as read-only.

With this release, the Course Code Setup tool has been removed.

Using the Course Management tool to update Course Master data resulted in inactive Course Masters being incorrectly marked as Active. This has been corrected.

Security

LDAPS/SSO – Identical Record Issue Generating Error (SIS-135355)

When attempting to sync metadata for SSO or LDAPS, if the Sync button was hit multiple times in a row, identical certificate records were being created in the certDB, causing users to receive the error "There is a configuration issue preventing the connection to the SSO keystore. Please contact your administrator or Infinite Campus."

To prevent this, updates were made so that when Sync is selected, a new record is created, and any existing records are purged.

Student Locator

Capitalization Differences Impact Enrollment (SIS-192238)

Differences in student name capitalization between State and District Editions triggered an infinite loop, blocking the creation of enrollment records. This issue has been resolved. Users can now search for students using the Locator Wizard and access the Enrollment Editor without interruption, even when capitalization differences exist.

Task Scheduler – Task Records Not Showing if One Record has a NULL Name (SIS-191568)

The Task Scheduler was incorrectly showing no records and no errors if one or more of the task records had a NULL name column. This issue was corrected.

Task Scheduler Enhancements (SIS-191998)

The following updates were made to the Task Scheduler to improve the user experience:

  • Filtering and search options were added to the Task Name, Start Date, and Frequency columns. This allows users to easily find tasks by searching and/or filtering the table's columns.
  • A dropdown list was added to the Active/Stopped column, allowing users to quickly filter the task list to just those that are active or stopped.
  • The tool will now remember what page you were on when reviewing a task’s details and returning to the task list.

Arizona - Student Program Associations, Student Needs Resources Updated for Enrollment Reporting (SIS-190464)

The Student Program Associations and the Student Needs Resources were incorrectly reporting for Ancillary enrollments. This has been corrected and will now use the following logic:

  • Local Service Type of Primary
    • Primary local service types will always report if they are different Start Dates
    • If the same Start Date, the earliest Enrollment ID will be used.
  • Local Service Type other than Primary
    • These will only be used if they are the only enrollment in a given time frame. This means that the Enrollment does not overlap with any other Enrollment from the same school or any other school.
    • The priority order for these Local Service Types are:
      • T: AOI
      • A: Ancillary
      • O: Program Only

California - CALPADS SELA Reporting Exited EL Students (SIS-172591)

California - CALPADS Student Course Section LEA Reporting (SIS-188567)

The CALPADS Student Course Section Extract incorrectly reported the Reporting LEA for schools with a Type 15 (Independently Reporting Charter) and a CDS Number. This has been corrected to report the State School Number instead of the CDS Number when the school is a Type 15.

California - TK Default Date (SIS-190853)

Iowa-Industry Recognized Credentials Relocated (SIS-192465)

Industry Recognized Credentials (IRC) were previously displayed in the Credentials field within the Enrollment tool. IRCs were moved and are now selectable under the 'Certification Name' dropdown within the Certification Criteria section of the Academic Programs tool. When a student is assigned to an academic program, the attempted/completed IRC can be associated with the student when selected under the 'Academic Program–Certifications' section. IRC data can be included on student transcripts and e-transcripts by enabling the 'Certification' checkbox under Report Display Options in the Report Setup.

A new 22 Credit and Summary Report is available, which returns a list of students who have completed 22 credits and remain enrolled without a diploma. It is available at both State and District Editions.

The 22 Credit Report is generated from the Data Validation Report. Choose 22 Credit and Summary as the Data Validation Group.

North Carolina - PMR Preview and Review Functionality (SIS-190724)

The PMR Summary and PMR Detail Reports have been modified to allow users to run and view the results of the reports prior to the end date of the School Month.

The Preview option generates the PMR and allows viewing of the data while still running the validations.

The Review option provides a review window spanning their review period, where users are required to generate a fresh report and review the data. Fatals are also generated, like in a Preview; however, if fatals are encountered, the process is halted.

During the review period, verifications cannot be submitted until the submission window. Once that happens, the user can submit any snapshot created either during the review period or the submission period (if all fatals have been cleared).

Logic has been updated to meet state requirements for the Roster Start Date, Roster End Date, and Days Enrollment fields.

  • The Roster Start Date field now considers the later date of either Term Start Date or Enrollment Start Date when the Roster Start Date is blank/null.
  • The Roster End Date field now considers the earlier date of Term End Date or Enrollment End Date when the Roster End Date is blank/null.
  • The Days Enrolled field now counts instructional days between the identified Roster Start Date and Roster End Date.

North Carolina - PMR System-Owned Validation Group Error (SIS-192913)

PMR Validations that were recently modified caused an error in a system-owned Validation Group that could not be edited or corrected, which caused the PMR to not run.

In a previous release, the available options for Military Status were updated; however, data was not properly converted for records with a Military Status value of 4-9. This has been corrected.

  • The Military Status values for those assigned a value between 4 and 9 have been correctly converted for records NOT modified after June 18, 2025 (the date districts were updated to the Campus.2523 Release) with the approved mappings provided by NCDPI.
  • Records with a comment of 'Created from OLR' were excluded from the conversion.

Vermont Ed-Fi Staff Resources Fix (SIS-192201)

An issue was fixed with reporting the Staff Education Organization Assignment Associations and Staff Education Organization Employment Associations resources.

Virginia Gender and Master Schedule Report Updates (SIS-191291)

The Virginia Department of Education is now collecting biological sex (M or F only) instead of gender. This was updated on the Demographics/Identities tool, as well as on the Master Schedule Report.

Virginia Master Schedule Report Updates (SIS-191311)

Several updates were made to the Master Schedule Report:

  • A new field was added to the C Record, Target Language, which was previously filler field 5.
  • Several filler fields were added to the F Record: Filler 13 (previously 50% Enrollment Flag), Filler 18, and Filler 19.
  • Three reported data elements were added: Class Period Present, Class Periods Absent, and Career Pathway Dual Enrollment.

The Next Year Grade Level field has been added to the State Reporting fields on Enrollment.

A resync on the Student School Associations resource needs to be completed with this update.

Wyoming – State End Status Updates (SIS-192681)

The list of State End Status codes for Enrollments has been updated to include the following codes:

  • 470: Placed student returned to the district, end of placement return to district
