The CTE Student Fact Template reports information regarding student CTE course and course completion. Only one record per student per CIP Classification reports.
The file name for this extract is in the same format as other PIMS extracts: StateDistrictNumber_ReportName_Date/Time (example: 122091352_CTE_Student_Fact_201408280246).

Report Logic
Only one record per school year reports.
When a student has multiple CTE records, the CIP with the most recent Start Date reports.
When more than one record is within the reporting dates, the most recent Start Date closest but beyond the Effective Date of the entered report generation date reports. When the Start Dates are the same, the record reports with a blank end date. When both end dates are blank and start dates are the same, the most recent created CTE record, using record ID, reports.
Generate the CTE Student Fact Template
- Select CTE Student Fact Template from the Extract Type dropdown list.
- Enter the Effective Date of the extract in mmddyy format or use the calendar icon to select a date.
- Enter the Prior Reporting Date of the extract in mmddyy format or use the calendar icon to select a date.
- Select the Format of the extract.
- Optional: select an existing Ad hoc Filter from which to report students. Only those students included in the filter and who meet the reporting population are included in the extract.
- Select the desired Grades to include in the report.
- Select the appropriate Calendar(s) from which to include data on the extract.
- Click the Generate Extract button or the Submit to Batch button, when available. The extract displays in the selected format.

CIP Location Code | State School Number of the reporting school. This code reports from the Location Code Override field on the student's Enrollment editor, when populated. When both the Location Code field and the Alt School Number field are not populated, the Location Code reports from the School Number selected on the student's CTE record.
