Configure Microsoft Education Connections

This tool is available as part of the Campus Learning premium offering.
Location: Digital Learning Applications Configuration > click OneDrive > Add LTI Connection
This article walks you through the process of configuring a connection to Microsoft Education (aka OneDrive). Currently, these connections allow teachers to attach files to assignments.
Microsoft Education connections use the 1.3 version of the LTI specification. Districts must be on a release of Campus.2623 or later to use this version of the integration.
Configure a connection
Configuring a connection to Microsoft Education involves actions taken in both Infinite Campus and your Microsoft LTI Registration Portal.

- Open the Digital Learning Applications Configuration tool.
- Click Add Application and select Microsoft Education.
- Expand LTI 1.3 Connections and click Add LTI Connection.

- Next, navigate to the Microsoft OneDrive LTI Registration Portal.
- Log in using your Office 365 Global Admin account.
- Click Add new registration.
- Select Microsoft 365 LTI and click Next.
- Enter a name for your Registration.
- For LTI Consumer Platform, select Other and click Next.
- Enter the following data FROM Microsoft into the New LTI 1.3 Connection screen in Infinite Campus and click Save:

- Enter the following data FROM Infinite Campus into the Microsoft LTI Registration Portal and click Save:

- In Microsoft Education, click Next.
- Click Save and exit.

- In Infinite Campus, enable the following LTI Placements. These placements determine where and how Microsoft LTI launches in Campus. These placements and the corresponding parameters should be auto-enabled for new connections.
- My Curriculum Content Selection
- Content Selection / Deep Linking
- Admin Launch
- Student Submission
- Section Tools for Teacher
- For the following Placements, enter the corresponding Custom Parameter:
- My Curriculum Content Selection: launchType=linkSelection
- Content Selection / Deep Linking: launchType=linkSelection
- Admin Launch: launchType=account
- Student Submission: launchType=assignment
- Click Save when finished.

- Click Test Connection. Log in to your Microsoft Education account. A Microsoft Education Admin Settings screen displays.
- Click Consent. Microsoft will prompt you to log into your account again.
- Review the Permissions requested. Click Accept.
- On the Admin Settings screen, Enable the applications that should be available to your users, such as OneDrive, Class Notebook, and Teams. Indicate if teachers should be able to enable or disable the Microsoft apps for their own sections using the Course default option. You can also enable the connection by default. Changes are saved automatically.
- Click Close to return to the connection information and Save to complete the configuration.
