Career and Technical Education (CTE) Participant
Montana CTE allows users to track student participation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses and aids in monitoring of student progress toward completion. Fields that are specific to Montana are described below.

CTE Pathway
This field is used to indicate the career and technical education pathway the student is following.
Students may have only one record per pathway.
CTE Concentrator
Indicates if the student is a Concentrator in the selected pathway.
If Total Pathway Credits Earned is 2.0 or greater, the student SHOULD be marked as a Concentrator (Y: Yes).
Student Single Parent
A student who is unmarried or legally separated from a spouse and has a minor child or children for which he/she has either custody/joint custody or is pregnant.
Start Date
Use this field to select the date on which the student began the CTE program.
Modified Date
The Modified Date tab lists the date on which the CTE record was edited. This field is automatically updated to the current date anytime a change is made to the record. Users may also manually edit this field.
CTE Credits Fields
Total Pathway Credits Earned
This field displays the Total CTE Credits Earned in the pathway. Users may NOT edit this field. This value is automatically calculated and is the sum of In District Credits Earned and Out of District Credits Earned.
In District Credits Earned
Total number of credits the student earned for the pathway within the current district.
Out of District Credits Earned
Total number of credits the student earned for the pathway in schools outside of the current district.
Dual Enrollment Credits
Total Dual Enrollment credits earned in the pathway.
Work Based Learning Credits
Total Work Based Learning credits earned in the pathway.
Print Summary Report
Users may employ this option to print a summary of all CTE records for the selected student.
