Crisis Event (North Carolina)

Tool Search: Crisis Event

The Crisis Event tool tracks students who are enrolled or are eligible for enrollment but have temporarily or permanently enrolled in another school or district because of a crisis-related disruption in educational services. To generate a report of the student's Crisis Event records, choose Print Summary Report.

Start Date

The date on which the crisis event began.

End Date

The date on which the crisis event ended.

Crisis Code

The Crisis Code indicates a state health or weather-related event that impacts a group of students and may require additional funding, educational, or social services. The event may or may not cause the student to leave the district or campus of residence.

Displaced Indicator

When marked, indicates the student was displaced from their home due to the crisis event.
