Activity Registration - Post to Course Section (SIS-153249) [Enhancement]
The Post to Course Section option has been updated to include options to auto-post, manually post, or not post. If Auto-Post is selected, students are added to the section's roster after registration is confirmed.

Activity Registration Fixes (SIS-159408)
The following updates have been made to the Activity Registration tool:
- Previously, when a Preapprover was deactivated, there were sometimes display issues with the Approver list. This has been corrected.
- Spacing for the Required Forms and Optional Forms labels has been fixed in the Activity Roster.
- Improvements have been made to the Activity Name, Type, and Status in the Activity Monitor to improve accessibility.
- The Activity Roll Forward and Activity Builder text editors have been updated to be more consistent.
- Previously, removing more than one person from the Activity Roster at a time could cause an error. This has been corrected.

Assessments
Publish Test Error Modal (SIS-159432)
Trying to publish test scores before publishing the test structure causes an error modal to display. The error intermittently displayed without the 'X' option to close the modal. This issue has been resolved.

User Security Update (SIS-159655)
User groups can be removed individually or en masse in the 'Mark as Restricted' section under the Display Settings of the Test Detail. Removing a user group from one designation (READ-ONLY or READ/WRITE) makes that user group available for selection in the other.

Test Detail Error Message (SIS-159871)
An error message displays when a user tries to save changes to an assessment that is tied to an attribute that has been deleted from the Campus Attributes / Dictionary. The message confirms the value no longer exists. It also indicates the original object (Test) and element (Field Name assigned under the Campus Attribute Detail editor) of the deleted attribute.

Enrollment Cleanup Wizard - Update Copies Forward (SIS-87735) [Enhancement]
In the Campus.2231 Release, the option to update enrollments was added. With that option, enrollment start dates could be updated to the first instructional day of the calendar or to a date before the first instructional day.
Now, a new method has been added when updating enrollments that updates the Copies Forward enrollment attributes to match a previous year's values. An attribute is a particular data column in a database table that displays on an editor as a field, a checkbox, a date field, etc. This new method updates the attributes most often found in the State Reporting Enrollment editor, like Homeless, Immigrant, Resident District, etc.

Quick Serve is a new Food Service tool that allows you to easily ring up transactions for students en masse in the back office.
Quick Serve is helpful for smaller schools that don't need to use terminals or for schools that want to quickly enter transactions where meals were distributed to students, such as a field trip. You can enter transactions for more than one day at a time and search for students by grade, homeroom, PIN entry, and name.
Please note that Quick Serve does NOT display any of the individual patron messaging (e.g, low balance, multiple meals served, previously served, no a la carte, etc.) that displays on the terminal.
As part of this change, the Location field on the Journal was renamed ""Terminal."" For more information, see the Quick Serve article in the Knowledge Base.

The CALPADS Student Discipline Extract has been updated for the following:
Incident Result File (SIRS)
- Field 14, Incident Result, only reports incidents in which the behavior event has a state code AND/OR the behavior resolution has a state code that is not 300 or 400, OR if there are multiple resolutions, at least one state code must not equal 300 or 400.
- Field 15, Incident Result Authority Code, reports students in a programs flagged with code 144 (Special Ed) and a Disposition Code of 100, 110, 200.
- Field 16, Incident Duration Days, now reports the days between the behavior resolution's start date and end date. Previously, this was reporting the days between the resolution's start date and the end of the year.
Student Incident File (SINC)
- Field 16, Student Instructional Support Indicator, reports Y when at least one even has a state code and when the Instructional Support field is marked on the Behavior Resolution. Otherwise, this field reports N.

The Student Program Associations resource logic has been updated. When reporting FRAM records with an Eligibility of “Free" or "Reduced" the resource:
- Reports the FRAM record with the start date on the record when a student's FRAM record starts in a previous school year but ends in the current school year after the Count Date.
- Reports the FRAM record that contains the Count Date when there are two FRAM records that have active eligibility in the current school year.
- Does not report when a student's FRAM record ends before the Count Date.

Indiana-Ed-Fi-Textbook Opt-Out (SIS-158532)
The State Programs tool has been updated to include a Textbook Opt-Out feature. This allows schools to identify a student with a FRAM record who opts out of the Curricular Material Program. The school / district can create an ad hoc filter to find any students whose application indicates the student/family declined textbook assistance. The Federal/State Program Updater can be used to mass populate the 'Textbook Opt-Out' Program using the ad hoc filter.
The Student Curricular Material Program Associations resource has been updated to NOT send a Curricular Materials record if the student has a State Program for 'Textbook Opt-Out'.
A resync is required as part of this update.

Indiana-Ed-Fi-Exclude Option for Staff Section Association Reporting (SIS-158930)

New York SIRS Student Lite 22-23 Updates (SIS-158333)
Several updates have been made to New York for the 22-23 school year for SIRS Student Lite reporting, including:
- a new tool, Crisis Event, has been added to track new students who have been displaced due to a crisis or disaster.
- a new field, Education Level, has been added to the Demographics tool to track the education level of the student's parent/guardian. Values available in this dropdown are located in a locked attribute dictionary called Education Level under Identity in the Attribute Dictionary.
- the Post Grad Plans (DE18) field on the SIRS Student Lite has been updated to report the code for the student's post graduation plans. This information is required for students participating in P-Tech, Smart Scholars and Smart Transfer programs. The field may report either the code or a blank for students not participating in these programs.
- several new fields have been added to the report (DE56, 57, 58, 59), County of Residence, Educational Level of Parent, Crisis Impact Code, and Crisis Name.
