The FRAM Race/Ethnicity Report counts the racial and ethnic information of students who have applied for meal benefits as of October 1st. This report includes information on the number of students approved for free meals, reduced meals, and denied benefits. Direct Certifications are not included in this report. This data is used to complete the Virginia DOE Racial/Ethnic report for the National School Lunch Program Meal Applications verification form.
FRAM Race/Ethnicity Editor
Report Logic
To report, students must have a FRAM Application Reference number in which the Application Expiration Date is not before October 1st of the reporting year. The FRAM Race/Ethnicity Report counts race data from a student's most recent Identity record.
In order for a record to report that has a FRAM Eligibity Detail End Date NOT prior to October 1st the following must be true:
- The FRAM Eligibility must be Free or Reduced
- The Source must be Non-Direct.
FRAM records do not report if the Source is Direct.
The totals in the report should exceed the number of FRAM applications due to multiple checks in the racial and ethnic identity section of the meal application, Census, or multiple students reported on a household application.
Report Editor Fields

| Format | The format in which the report will generate. The following options are available:

| Select Calendar(s) | The calendars from which student and FRAM information will be pulled. |
| Generate Extract | The report appears in a separate window in the designated format. |
| Submit to Batch | This process allows larger reports to generate in the background, without disrupting the use of Campus. For more information about submitting a report to the batch queue, see the Batch Queue article. |
Generating the FRAM Race/Ethnicity Report
- Enter the Effective Date in mmddyy format or select a date using the calendar icon.
- Select the Format in which the report should be generated.
- Select the Calendar(s) for which to generate the report.
- When finished, select Generate Extract or the Submit to Batch button. The report will display in the selected format.
A student's FRAM Eligibility, Source, and Certified Type information is located at FRAM > Eligibility > Eligibility Detail Editor.
