The following corrections are included in Rx Packs for August and September 2021. Rx Packs contain a small number of critical cases to fix urgent issues, with delivery in an immediate time frame (e.g., the fix cannot wait for the next four week Release Pack).

It is recommended that customers apply all subsequent Release Packs immediately following Rx Packs. Doing so will benefit both customers and Infinite Campus when it comes to supporting the patch.

Rx Packs are cumulative; each Rx pack will automatically include all previous Rx packs within that release. These cases will also be included in the Campus.2140 pack unless otherwise noted.

Online Payments

New Process for Declined eChecks (SIS-149760)

When eCheck transactions fail, previously deposited funds are now automatically removed from the district's bank account in the next deposit and the transaction statuses are updated in Campus. The original transaction status will be "RETURNED". The Return transaction status will be "RETURNVOID". The Payment Source status will be "Failed Transaction".

Idaho - ISEE Student Demographics Extract Updates (SIS-148629)

The following updates have been made:

  • Added new a code to both Instructional Setting fields on the Course and Settings tabs: NC: Night/Evening Class. (Scheduling > Courses > Course > Instructional Setting; Section > Instructional Setting)
  • Updated the description for Exceptionality 10 to Deaf or Hard of Hearing (Student Information > General > Enrollments > Special Ed Fields > Exceptionality)
  • Updated code descriptions for Course Exit Reason codes CN: Completed - No Credit, CF: Completed - Full Credit, and CP: Completed - Partial Credit. (Scheduling > Courses > Roster > Exit Reason)
  • Added 6 new districts to the Resident District and Serving District fields (Student Information > General > Enrollments)

Additionally, a new field has been added to the Student Demographics extract called apprenticeshipParticipant. This field reports as Y if the student is enrolled in a grade level mapped to a state grade of 09, 10, 11, or 12 and the student has an STRAP record active during the extract date range. Otherwise reports as N, or as blank if the student is not enrolled in the required grades.

Idaho - New State Program (SIS-148903)

A new state program has been added for STRAP (School to Registered Apprenticeship Program). All program fields are available in Ad hoc Reporting.

Maine – Instruction Mode Tool Now Available and Attendance Report Changed to Student Daily Attendance Report (SIS-149461)

The Instruction Mode tool is now available. This tool allows schools and districts to capture and manage when/if a student is using remote learning.

The Attendance Report has been reworked and renamed to the Student Daily Attendance Report. This report details attendance data for students enrolled and receiving instruction in their Primary enrollment calendar for the report window.

Pennsylvania IEP Fix (SIS-149542)

The following updates have been made to the PA IEP 2021.2 print format:

  • a new dropdown, Primary Support, has been added to the Educational Placement editor.
  • the Positive Behavior Support plan table has been added to the services.
  • a Positive Behavior Support Plan checkbox has been added to the Goals editor.
  • an issue on the ESY editor has been resolved.
  • the State ID now displays on the printed header instead of the student's Local ID number.

Massachusetts Only

A new field called "Mentor MEPID" was added to the Work Assignment Editor for districts in Massachusetts. This field displays when the Beginning Educator field is set to 01: Yes and allows users to enter the mentor's Massachusetts Education Personnel ID. As part of this change, the Beginning Educator field and the Mentor MEPID field were both added to Ad hoc Reporting.

Enrollment End Status Type State Code ‘7361: Officially withdrew and enrolled in a workforce training program’ has been renamed to ‘7361: Officially withdrew and enrolled in a workforce or other approved training program’.

Enrollment End Status Type State Code ‘3509: Completed with state-recognized equivalency cert for students who recv an Adult Ed Diploma or GED’ has been added. The Value field on the Attribute contains '03509' and returns in state reporting when Enrollment End Status Type mapped to State Code 3509 is selected.

Massachusetts – 2021 – 2022 SIF Updates (SIS-148033)

A new Supplemental Low-Income Indicator dropdown list has been added to the State Reporting section of the Enrollments tab.

    • If "Ed Services Provided Code" is null, report the default value with the Codeset (field 31) of 'StateProvince'
    • If the state resolution code is MA58, report MA58 with the Codeset (field 31) of 'Other'

New Mexico - Updates for 2021-22 Reporting (SIS-149103)

The following updates were made to support 2021-22 reporting.

  • A new tool called K5P is now available (Student Information > Program Participation > State Programs > K5P). Students in grades K-5 that qualify for the K5 Plus program should be reported in the K5P tab.
  • The Digital Equity tool is now available (Student Information > Program Participation > State Programs > Digital Equity). The Digital Equity tool allows schools to track digital devices and internet availability for students and staff.
  • A new field called Birth Gender was added to the Protected Identity Information fields on the Identity tool. This is a required field that must be populated for all students.
  • The Gender field on the Demographics and Identity tools was renamed "Gender Identity."
  • K5P was removed from the Submission Schedule dropdown list for the following templates:
    • Staff Template & Staff Snapshot
    • Programs Fact
    • Assessment Fact
    • Course Instructor
    • Course
    • CTE Student Industry Credential
    • Student Course Enrollment
    • Student Daily Attendance

Update for Deposit Job to Complete by 6 PM Eastern Time (SIS-149436)

In some cases, the deposit job was not completing in the time allowed and was preventing districts from receiving their money. This issue was corrected. Now, the deposit job must complete by 6:00 PM Eastern Time (ET); otherwise, the payment platform moves the request date forward one day to ensure the deposit job has enough time to complete.

Response Table Not Loading in Survey Response Extract when Respondent ID is Null (SIS-149385)

The Response Table in a Survey Response Extract was failing to load if the respondentID field was null. This issue was corrected.

A new Enrollment End Status, T:168: Alternative Independent Student School Discharge, has been added to the list of available end statuses.

An issue with certain Special Ed Service Positions not printing for the Kentucky IEP has been resolved.

Minnesota - Ed-Fi Student School Associations Update (SIS-146840)

The membership endpoint in the Student School Associations resource has been updated to calculate based on instructional and attendance days instead of student roster information.

A resync on the Student School Associations resource needs to be completed with this update.

Localization - Missouri

Missouri - MOSIS Enrollment and Attendance Updates (SIS-149447)

The following modifications have been made to the MOSIS Enrollment and Attendance Report:

  • Field 95, Regular Hours Attended, and Field 100, Regular Hours Absent, now looks at the Duration value on the Calendar Day for the instructional minutes for that day. Student attendance minutes cannot be more than the value associated with the Duration value. When the Duration value is blank or zero, the Student Day (instructional minutes) is used.
  • Field 158, Chronic Absenteeism, now reports the same number as the Days Absent (Federal) value that reports on the Federal Chronic Absenteeism Report.

Localization - Montana

Montana – Enrollment Roll Forward Erroring Out for Extracurricular Activities Only and Gifted Evaluated Fields (SIS-149423)

Gifted Evaluated and Extracurricular Activities Only fields were producing an error during the Enrollment Roll Forward process. This issue was corrected. 

In the future when Gifted Evaluated is checked on a student's enrollment the value will copy forward to their next enrollment, the Extracurricular Activities Only fields will not copy forward.

Wisconsin – Ed-Fi CTE and Program Updates for the 2021-22 School Year (SIS-149566)

The following updates have been made to Ed-Fi for CTE and Programs for the 2021-22 school year:

  • The Dual Enrollment and World Language fields have been moved from the Custom Data Elements section to the Course Information section on the Courses tool.
  • The World Language, Dual Enrollment, Certified Learning Method, and Non-Certificated Learning Method fields have been added to the Sections tool.
  • The Dual Enrollment field has been added to the Roster Batch Edit tool.
  • The Student Sections Associations resource has been updated to report Programs from the World Language, Dual Enrollment, Certified Learning Method, and Non-Certificated Learning Method fields.
  • The Sections resource has been updated to report Programs from the World Language, Dual Enrollment, Certified Learning Method, and Non-Certificated Learning Method fields.
  • The Parent field on the Enrollments tool has been changed to the Teen Single Parent field.
  • The Student Education Organization Association resource has been updated to report from the Teen Single Parent field on the Enrollments tool.
  • The CTE tool has been hidden, but ad hoc fields for CTE will still remain available.
  • The Certificated Program Status Descriptor has been removed from reporting for the 2021-22 school year in the Grades resource.
  • The Student CTE Program Associations resource has been updated to only report the most recent program if a student has two academic records for the same configuration year with the same program/program type.
  • An auto-mapping issue for Tribal Affiliations has been corrected.
  • An issue with sending the Program Reference when a student is dropped from a course with a certified learning method, non-certificated learning method, world language, or dual enrollment (at section level) and then given a grade has been corrected.
