What is changing?
Infinite Campus is in the process of upgrading the backend technology of our PDF and DOCX generated reports. This change involves updating the Formatting Objects Processor (FOP) and is required to move to the new version of Java. Affected "reports" include
- Print summaries
- Special education print formats
- State reports that use these formats
- Standard reports
Changes are largely cosmetic. Reports may look a little different, but functionality remains the same. These changes should not impact the usability of affected reports. Differences may include visual elements such as font formatting and margin and text spacing.
When are reports being updated?
The timeline for report upgrades extends from November 2025 to August 2026. Multiple reports will be updated with each release and will be listed in the section below when they are updated.
What do I need to do?
This communication is for informational purposes only, there is no action needed from customers as a result of these changes to reports.
