Career Tech Detail Fields

Career Pathway	Identifies the Career Pathway finished by a student. Values available in this dropdown are located in a locked Attribute Dictionary (Core Attribute/ Dictionary > CTE > Career Pathway). Finisher	A code to identify the student's CTE status. Values available in this dropdown are located in a locked Attribute Dictionary (Core Attribute/ Dictionary > CTE > Finisher). Options include: 1: Finished CTE Course requirements for completion 3: Took min 1 state-appv course/has not finished req 4: Has not taken state-appv CTE course since grade 7 5: Finished CTE completer req and CTE dual enr course 6: 2 CTE course sequence complete/grad req not met 7: Completed at least 3 yrs JROTC	Database Location: CTEStatusVA.finisher Ad hoc Inquiries: Student > VA CTE > VA Career Tech > careerVATech.finisher
CTE Career Cluster	Identifies a state-approved CTE course a student has taken. The values in this dropdown are located in a locked Attribute Dictionary (Core Attribute/Dictionary > CTE > Career Cluster). Options include: 1: Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources 2: Architecture & Construction 3: Arts, Audio-Video Tech & Communications 4: Business, Management & Administration 5: Education & Training 6: Finance 7: Government & Public Administration 8: Health Science 9: Hospitality & Tourism 10: Human Services 11: Information Technology 12: Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security 13: Manufacturing 14: Marketing 15: Science, Tech, Engineering & Math 16: Transportation, Distribution & Logistics 17: Energy	Database Location: CTEStatusVA.careerCluster Ad hoc Inquiries: Student > VA CTE > VA Career Tech > careerVATech.careerCluster
Special Populations	A student may be coded as a Single Parent, Displaced Homemaker, and/or in a Nontraditional Career Preparation. Competency Attainment	This checkbox indicates whether the student attained at least 80 percent of the essential competencies from the state-provided, industry-validated competency list.
