An issue where the Update Student Status Mode in the Course Plan Administration tool was not updating student statuses as expected has been resolved.

Resolved an issue where students who registered and paid for an activity through Campus Parent were not appearing on the Activity Roster.

Previously, teachers without Unfiltered Search access could view results for all students within the selected calendar when using the Filter Designer tool. The search logic has been refined to deliver more targeted and relevant data. Results are now limited to students assigned to a teacher's course sections within the selected calendar.

Assessments
Assessment Name Character Limit Increased (SIS-190940)
The character limit for assessment names was increased to 255. When copying an assessment with a name that is near the 255-character limit, the copied assessment is saved as "Copy of " + the assessment name. The end of the name is truncated not to exceed the new character limit.

Map Data User Interface Updates (SIS-192252)
Changes were implemented for the Step 3- Map Data user interface to better adhere to Section 508 accessibility requirements:
- Replaced 'Show All Hidden' with 'Restore Deleted Columns'.
- Changed the 'X' button to 'Delete'.
- Removed the minimize '+/-' column header and the ‘Expand All’ button.

Dates Not Importing (SIS-193382)
The issue that previously prevented date fields from importing during test uploads in the Assessment Center has been resolved. All properly mapped dates now import successfully without errors.

Classroom Monitor Tool Updates for Multi-Period Sections (SIS-193992)
An issue where the Classroom Monitor Tool was not updating to green for sections spanning multiple periods after a recent update has been corrected.

Campus Instruction
Go To Student Information Link Didn't Work in Testing Sites (SIS-194076)
Previously, the "Go To Student Information" link in Campus Instruction > Students > Attendance released in Campus.2543 didn't work in staging and sandbox sites and other test environments. This issue didn't occur in production sites and has been corrected.

Teacher Attendance Seating Chart Display Issue (SIS-194162)
The attendance seating chart now displays correctly in full screen when taking attendance. This resolves an issue where the seating chart did not fill the entire screen after recent updates to the Attendance list released in Campus.2543.

Campus Learning
New! Groups - A Staff, Parent, and Student Communication Tool (SIS-189814)
A new Groups tool has been added to Campus Learning. This tool allows users to create groups that include students, parents, and staff members and communicate with them via Campus. These groups can be created around events, topics, organizations, and interests. Depending on group settings, members can create posts and reply to others in the group.
Group Owners can
- Create groups and determine the posting permissions for that group.
- Make the group public, so that any users in the district can request to join the group, or set the group to private so that only users who are invited can join.
- Participate in the group, including creating posts and replies and flagging inappropriate content.
- Moderate groups and resolve flagged posts.
- Manage group membership.
- View communication history for the group, which maintains original content if editing content is enabled.
- Archive groups that are no longer needed.
Only staff members can be given the role of Group Owners.
Group Members can
- Post and reply in the group, depending on group settings.
- Flag inappropriate content.
- Search for public groups and request access to join.
Staff, parents, and students can be members of groups.
Note: when a student wants to join a group, their guardians must first provide approval.
The Groups Administration tool allows administrators to oversee the use of groups, including resolving flags and other Group Owner tasks. Access to the Groups tool is granted to staff members via tool rights. Additionally, a System Preference must be enabled to turn on Groups for a district. An additional setting is available to automatically add a student's guardians to any groups the student is a member of. The Campus Digital Repository must also be enabled for groups to share images and attachments.

Standards Portfolio - Read-Only Assignments (SIS-192055)
Viewing assignments in the Standards Portfolio has been updated to make the screen read-only. Previously, options to reassign, edit, and save assignments displayed in error in this view.

California - Automated Process for Gathering Attendance Data in Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (SIS-189943)
An automated overnight process has been implemented to update Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) records based on attendance data from designated courses and sections. The stored procedure sums all days (whole values only) a student attends ELO courses for all instructional days (school days) in a calendar year (up to the date the procedure runs). A student is counted when they are marked present in the course.
A student can only earn one day of credit per calendar day. If a student attends a before-school course and an after-school course on the same day, one 1 day is earned.
- When the student has an active ELO record (or, when there are multiple ELO records active on the current date, the most recent record), the stored procedure UPDATES the ELOP Days value.
- When the student DOES NOT have an active ELO record, the stored procedure CREATES a new record with the current start date, a Program Type of 194: ELP - Expanded Learning programs, and ELOP Days with the calculated value.
- When the student has more than one active record with a Program Type of 194, the stored procedure DOES NOT CREATE a record for them.

California - OR Logic Update for Monthly Attendance Register (SIS-190450)
The Monthly Attendance Register has been updated to address Days (OR) Logic:
- For any student whose enrollment began after the first day of the School Month and/or ended before the last day of the School Month, the number of Instructional Days not enrolled is counted. The sum of these days reports in the Grade Level/AFC/DofA/Service Type group being reported.
- When the report is run for a range of School Months, the total number of Off-Roll days during the range reports. For example, when the report is run for SM 1-2, a student whose enrollment began in SM 2 would have all the days of SM 1 counted as Off-Roll.

North Carolina - NEW Snapshot Deletion Tool (SIS-189774)
A new Snapshot Deletion tool is now available for State Edition that allows District Edition users to request deletions of report snapshots (for PMR, LCS reports).
Once a district user submits a request, the state administrator can approve or deny the request directly through the user interface. This process eliminates the need for manual scripting and scheduling of snapshot deletions, streamlining the process of correcting data errors after submission and reducing turnaround time, thereby minimizing the risk of manual errors.

The FATAL-26 data validation for the Principal Monthly Report has been updated to verify a student is present for greater than or equal to 50% of the instructional day, rather than just greater than 50%. This change applies only to students with enrollment admission status of MED1 and MST1. The validation now uses the Student Day instructional minutes from the Calendar Information, instead of Period instructional minutes.

The Student Special Education Graduation Requirement (FE) extract was updated to contain two versions of the same file. The FE Original is set as the default and contains no changes to the report. The FE Proposed was added to report a record for all active IEPs with an exemption, even when an exemption category is not selected. A separate record for each active IEP in the reporting range that does not contain an exemption continues to report in the FE Proposed file only when the prior IEP contains at least one exemption category.
