Report Logic

  • This extract reports Behavior Incidents that have a state-coded resolution and incident dates between July 1st and June 30th of the reporting year.
  • All incidents with a state coded resolution report regardless of whether or not they occur on the same date.
  • If an incident contains multiple events, only the most serious event in which the the student participated reports. This is based on the event being marked as Most Severe. If multiple events have Most Severe marked or no events have it marked, the lowest event ID event reports.
  • Offense Codes 001 (Immunization) and 002 (Personal health), report from the student's attendance. The student must be absent for the entire day and have the Role "Offender" to report.

Title I Determination Logic

  • If the student has an active Title1 Flag with a state code of T1 and is marked as state reported as of the incident date Y reports; otherwise, move onto following logic.
  • If the student has a value in the home school field on their enrollment AND there is a school in the district with that state school code, then Campus finds the school record that falls as of the end date in the extract editor and reports the value from the Title 1 field on that school.

Absent Calculation for 001 and 002 Offense Codes

If the student does NOT have an FTE override filled out on their enrollment, the following logic applies.

Campus calculates the total number of absences for the reporting period based on the values found in System Administration > Calendar > Whole Day (absence), and Half Day (absence) Absences are defined by any attendance code tied to a state code of 17 or 99.

If the student HAS a value in the FTE override field on their enrollment, the following logic applies.

StepAction
1Campus finds the student's FTE on their enrollment.
2Campus finds the number of student day minutes from the calendar.
3Campus multiples the number of student day minutes by the FTE.
4

Campus divides the number of minutes the student was absent by the product from number 3.

Absences are defined by any attendance code tied to a state code of 17or 99.
