Tool Search: Portal Gender Identity
The Portal Gender Identity preference tool allows districts to indicate whether the Demographics tool in Campus Student and Campus Parent should Display Gender and Display Pronoun. These settings apply to all schools in the district.

The Display Gender Options and Display Pronoun preferences apply to the Demographics tool in Campus Student and Campus Parent. If the Demographics tool is not enabled in Self Service Options, these options have no effect.
Gender is the default option for Display Gender Options and displays gender identity. Legal gender is not a required field in Infinite Campus. When selected, legal gender appears when it is recorded for a student. If legal gender is not recorded, gender identity is displayed instead. When Do Not Display is selected, gender information does not display. Display Gender and Display Pronoun is disabled by default, unless the district has Self Service Options > Activate Demographics > Display Student Demographics enabled.
Note: display of Gender and Pronoun fields also depend on whether the fields are enabled in the Core Attribute/Dictionary. Pronoun options are managed via the Pronoun Setup tool.
