Tool Search: SIF Data Tool
The SIF Data Tool allows administrators to view the XML output of specific SIF objects or records, depending on the Zone and Agent selected. This tool is useful for reviewing SIF object data and troubleshooting specific SIF records that maybe be sending erroneous data or causing errors on the receiving end.
This tool is only available in SIF-enabled instances of Infinite Campus.

Prerequisites
Only users assigned a Product Security Role of Student Information System (SIS) are allowed to use this tool.

View XML of a SIF Object or Record
To generate a view of the XML for a specific SIF object or record:
- Select the School Year. This defaults to the latest available year.
- Select the Zone. Only zones configured for the selected school year are available for selection.
- Select an Agent.
- Select the SIF Object. The list of available objects depends on the zone and agent selected as well as how Data Access Rights are configured in your instance of Infinite Campus.
- If a person-related SIF Object is selected, you must enter the PersonID of the person you wish to view or the RefId of the record you wish to view.
- If a non-person related SIF Object is selected, you must enter the RefId of the record you wish to view.
- Once the RefId or PersonID (depending on object) is entered, click the Generate SIF Data button. The XML for the object/record will appear below.
