The Record W: Ten Low Attendance Weather Days reports attendance on or up to ten days a district has manually designated as Low Weather Days. The state uses these totals to adjust attendance funding to compensate for severe weather that impacts student attendance.

Report Logic
The report pulls attendance for up to 10 days marked as low-weather days by district users. Up to ten days marked as low-weather days on any calendar in the district report.
Low-weather days are manually designated by the user as follows:
- Navigate to the Day Setup tool and select a day.
- Select the L: Low Attn Weather (SAAR) option from the Day Event Type dropdown.
It is best practice to set these days on a single district calendar. District-wide data is reported, regardless of the calendar selected.
Days must not already be marked as low-attendance days for the Record L report.
The W Record reports future present-day attendance. When the SSAR is run halfway through the year and the student is enrolled all year, the present days reflect the entire year, and future days are counted as present days.
When any L Record day overlaps a day designated as a low-attendance weather day, the PDF and State Formats of the W Record do not generate, and an error message occurs.
W Record days are not part of the 7 Record adjustment.
