Aggregate counts report for all CTE courses with twelfth grade concentrator students from the prior Academic Year (July 1 through the following June 30). Data is entered into the Perkins Data System by Course. Courses are available when twelfth grade completers are enrolled into them. Data from the CDE 101 E1 relative to twelfth grade concentrators and their courses are preloaded for E2 entry.

Data extracts in this report is entered manually or submitted electronically through the Perkins Data System web app. Data is provided by Campus for manual entry only.

There are two parts to this report:

  • Counts of placement types broken out by Gender and Race/Ethnicity
  • Counts of placement types broken out by Special Population (Economic Disadvantage, Disability, Single Parent, LEP, Migrant, Displaced Homemaker, Gender)

Report Logic

Data reports for all CTE courses with twelfth grade completer students enrolled in them at any time during the reporting year. A CTE course is one with:

  • A State Code in the range of 4010 to 5955, and/or
  • A checkbox in the Career Tech field, regardless of the State Code, and/or
  • A Vocational Course Code of 32 or 33, regardless of the State Code.

A CTE Course is considered a Tech Prep course when the second or third bullets above are met. A CTE Course is not considered a Tech Prep course when the second and third bullets above do not exists.

Students do not report when:

  • The enrollment record is marked as State Exclude.
  • The grade level of enrollment is marked as State Exclude.
  • The calendar of enrollment is marked as State Exclude.

A student is only counted once, even if the student is enrolled in multiple sections of the same course.

For Ethnicity Data, records are ordered by School, then State Code. A set of records for Course Ethnicity Data includes one record for each of the following Federal Race/Ethnicity designation and Gender categories:

  • American Indian or Alaskan Native Male
  • American Indian or Alaskan Native Female
  • Asian Male
  • Asian Female
  • Black or African American Male
  • Black or African American Female
  • Hispanic or Latino Male
  • Hispanic or Latino Female
  • Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander Male
  • Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander Female
  • White Male
  • White Female
  • Two or More Races Male
  • Two or More Races Female

For Special Populations Data, records are ordered by School, then State Code. A set of records for Course Special Populations data includes one record for each of the following Gender categories:

  • Economic Disadvantaged Male
  • Economic Disadvantaged Female
  • Individual with Disabilities Male
  • Individual with Disabilities Female
  • Single Parent Male
  • Single Parent Female
  • LEP Male
  • LEP Female
  • Migrant Male
  • Migrant Female

Break Out by Course

When marked, a set of records reports for each unique School/State Code/Tech Prep/Course Number combination.

For example, if Course 1234 and Course 3456 exist and both have State Code 4010 assigned (and the same values in Career Tech and Vocational Code), there would be one set of records for Course 1234/State Code 4010 and one set for Course 3456/State Code 4010.

Otherwise, there would be one set of records for all courses with State Code 4010. This logic is the same for the Ethnicity data or the Special Populations data.

Exclude Cross- Site Data
When marked, students enrolled in Cross-Site Enrollment courses are not included in the report.
Calendar SelectionAt least one calendar needs to be selected in order to generate the report. If a school and calendar is selected in the Campus toolbar, that calendar will be selected. Additional calendars can be selected.
Report GenerationThe report generates immediately using the Generate Report button. Or, select a time when the report should generate by using the Submit to Batch button.
