Tool Search: Foster Care
The Foster Care tool indicates whether a student is in Foster Care. A start and end date is associated with each instance of a Foster Care record. These records are not tied to student enrollments or calendars. Fields used in the Foster Care tool specific to Nevada are described below.

State Edition: To import Foster Care files, confirm that the Federal Programs Publishing tool is properly set up.
Foster Care Detail Fields
The Foster Care Detail fields are used to enter start and end dates, foster care status, and any relevant comments regarding the student's foster care.
Placement Start/End Date
Indicates the start and end dates for the various placement types.
Placement Type
Indicates the type of foster care placement for the selected student.
Unity Person ID
Indicates person ID number form Unity foster care system.
Primary Social Worker Name (First and Last)
Indicates the name of the primary social worker.
Facility/Foster Parent Name
Indicates name of facility/foster parent.
Facility/Foster Parent Address
Indicates address of facility/foster parent.
Parental Status Rights
Indicates right of facility/foster parent.
Custody Start and End Date
Indicates the custody start/end date of the particular record.
