Special Education Status (Maryland)

When reporting Special Education Status in Maryland state reporting, Campus uses the following logic.

  • Report logic first uses the student’s most recent IEP where the print format is MD SPED Data as of the Effective Date selected on the report editor.
  • If the student’s most recent enrollment has an End Date and the enrollment End Date is prior to report's Effective Date, the Special Education status reports as of the enrollment End Date.
  • The hierarchy for reporting status is Y, E, 3, 2, N.
