Tool Search: Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Collection

The Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Collection includes two extract types:

  • The Industry Recognized Credential (IRC) file helps determine the eligibility amount for sustained funding per LEA for students who received an industry-recognized credential. 
  • The Work-Based Learning (WBL) file helps determine the eligibility amount for sustained funding per LEA for students who successfully satisfied work-based learning requirements.

Report Editor

Data ElementDescription
Calendar Setup
Search CalendarsSearch field to narrow the list of calendars to select. Use the Expand All/Collapse All. Place a checkbox next to the desired school and calendars.
Show Active Year  Only

When set to ON, only those calendars for the current school year are available for selection.

When set to OFF, all calendars from all school years are available for selection.

Report Options
Extract TypeDetermines which files generates. 
Report Legal NameWhen marked, the student's legal name reports from the Protected Identity Information fields on the Identities editor. 
Output Options
Report ProcessingSelect the Generate Now option to generate the report immediately. Use the Submit to Batch option to choose when the report generates. Submit to Batch is useful when generating the report for several calendars or for larger amounts of data being reported. See the Batch Queue article for more information.
Format TypeDetermines in which format the report generates - CSV, HTML, or XML.

Generate the Report

  1. Search for and select the desired Calendars.
  2. Select the desired Extract Type. 
  3. Mark the Report Legal Name checkbox to report student legal names. 
  4. Select the desired Report Processing option of Generate Now or Submit to Batch Queue
  5. Select the desired Format Type
  6. Click Generate. The report displays in the selected format. See the Extract Type description in the Report Editor table for PDFs of the available reports, including report logic and layout information.
