Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Vermont State Department of Health.

General Compliance

All doses should be given after 6 weeks (except Hepatitis B).
Rules for students below kindergarten are based on Vermont's recommended schedule, but rules are enforced for K-12.
In Process rules are called Grace Period. Grace Period rules are considered Non-Compliant.

DTaP

Rule	Requirements
Under 2 months No Requirement	Students who are 1 month old or younger do not need any doses of the DTaP vaccine.
Preschool 2-3 months - 1 dose Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are at least 2 months old but no older than 3 months. They are in state grade(s) IT: Family/Infant/Toddler Program, EE: Ess Early Ed, or PK: Pre-Kindergarten. They receive one dose of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance.
Preschool 4-5 months - 2 doses Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are at least 4 months old but no older than 5 months. They are in state grade(s) IT: Family/Infant/Toddler Program, EE: Ess Early Ed, or PK: Pre-Kindergarten. They receive two doses of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.
Preschool 6-18 months - 3 doses Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are at least 6 months old but no older than 18 months. They are in state grade(s) IT: Family/Infant/Toddler Program, EE: Ess Early Ed, or PK: Pre-Kindergarten. They receive three doses of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance.

The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the fifth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the fifth dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4-day tolerance.
4 doses Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They receive four doses of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 42 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the fourth and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the fourth dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4-day tolerance.
3 dose Grace Period	Students are considered in a grace period when: They receive three doses of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than or equal to 5 months with a 1-day tolerance.
2 dose Grace Period	Students are considered in a grace period when: They receive two doses of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than or equal to 28 days with a zero-day tolerance.
1 dose Grace Period	Students are considered in a grace period when: They receive one dose of the DTaP, Td, or Tdap vaccine. The difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than or equal to 28 days with a zero-day tolerance.

Polio

Rule	Requirements

Preschool 1M 1M 1R Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are in state grade(s) IT: Family/Infant/Toddler Program, EE: Ess Early Ed, or PK: Pre-Kindergarten. They receive one dose of the Measles vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4-day tolerance. They receive one dose of the Mumps vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4-day tolerance. They receive one dose of the Rubella vaccine. The difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4-day tolerance.
Preschool 1 MMR Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are in state grade(s) IT: Family/Infant/Toddler Program, EE: Ess Early Ed, or PK: Pre-Kindergarten. 3 doses Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They receive three doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine. The difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 56 days with a 4-day tolerance. The difference between the third and the two previous doses is greater than or equal to 112 days with a 4-day tolerance.
