Tool Search: Digital Learning Applications Configuration
As a result of upcoming changes to the Campus OneRoster implementation, districts need to verify their connections to ensure they continue to work. This article provides guidance on checking your OneRoster connections, specifically the Base URL used to connect to partner programs.
Support for legacy connections will end with the Campus.2651 release.
Before you start
Each OneRoster vendor collects and stores data differently. It may save time to:
- Make a list of your current OneRoster connections.
- Determine how each vendor collects information.
For example, some vendors provide a portal for managing connections, whereas others rely on email communication.
Verify and update your Base URL
The Base URL is unique to your district, but all of your connections use the same Base URL.
- Go to the Digital Learning Applications Configuration tool.
- Click on the tile for a vendor. Choose a connection that was created after 2022. The Base URL is the same for all non-legacy connections.
- Click Edit next to a OneRoster connection.
- Observe the Base URL. It may be helpful to copy it for reference as you check each vendor.
- Verify that this Base URL is the one used by each of your vendor programs. If a vendor is using a different Base URL, replace it with the current value.
- Note: If a vendor is using the Legacy Base URL found in the Legacy Configuration section at the bottom of the Edit screen, that connection will stop working at the end of 2026. Make sure to update the Base URL to the current one for these vendors.
- If the Base URL used by the vendor matches the current one, no further action is needed.
What's next
Once all vendors have the correct Base URL, your connections will continue to function without interruption when legacy connections are no longer supported at the end of the year.
