The Missouri Student Information System (MOSIS) is a student-level recording system developed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). The DESE developed MOSIS in hopes of creating a reliable method of reporting and assessing accurate and timely education information as well as taking some data burden off local schools and districts.

MOSIS is a three phase process with the third phase implementing the Core Data Collection System. Campus has created MOSIS extracts to allow schools and districts to generate the appropriate data needed to complete all Core Data Collection System requirements.
