The Graduation tool allows districts to track graduation information used in state reporting, AYP (Average Yearly Progress) determinations, and NCLB (No Child Left Behind) report cards. Districts can track when a student first entered ninth grade and calculate his/her expected graduation date. Collected graduation data varies by state. This article contains information specific to Delaware

Enrollment Data Fields

The Enrollment Data section repeats the information from the student's General Enrollment Information editor. It cannot be modified using the Graduation tool. See the core Graduation article for more information.

NGA Cohort
End Year

This field is part of the National Governors’ Association graduation calculation rate. The selected year is often four years after the ninth-grade start year; if a student has not graduated from high school in four years (could be less than or more than four years), this selection can be changed.


The NGA Cohort Years after NCLB system preference allows users to dictate how many additional years are available for selection when entering NGA Cohort End Year values on the student Graduation tool.

Read-only field that is auto-populated when the Date First Entered the 9th Grade field is set. Shows the expected graduation year for the student for use in NCLB calculations.

Location

State Seal Information

The Delaware Department of Education awards the Certificate of Multiliteracy to honor and recognize high school students who have attained a high level of proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English. A student's Delaware Certificate of Multiliteracy data is documented in the State Seal Information section of the Graduation tool. 

Certificate of Multiliteracy data is reported in the Student Education Organization Associations Ed-Fi resource.
