Release notes allow relevant personnel to review enhancements, modifications, and regulated changes prior to accepting an update. It is advised that users review the release notes carefully and alert appropriate district staff to changes in Campus.

Academic Planning
Assigning SE Academic Programs to Students Not Consistent When the Credit Types not Properly Mapped (SIS-199196)
When assigning state-managed academic programs to students, manually or through the Batch Program Assignment Wizard, the results were not consistent when the credit types were not properly mapped. This has been corrected so that students cannot be assigned to state-managed academic programs if credit types are not properly mapped.

Assessment
Update to Test Score Validation Logic and DIS Parent Test Matching (SIS-198777)
The state application now accepts test scores from any district in which a student was enrolled at any point during the current year. This replaces the previous rule that accepted scores only from the student’s most recent district of enrollment. The updated logic supports cross‑site enrollments and ensures scores from all relevant districts are processed. Scores from districts with no enrollment match are rejected and logged with an explicit error.
Child test scores sent from districts now include the parent test’s GUID to ensure accurate matching on the state side. This resolves an issue in which multiple tests shared the same state code, test code, type, and end year, resulting in incorrect parent lookups and failed child score saves. The system now reliably links each child score to the correct parent test.

Classroom Messenger - Allow Teachers to Send Messages Before Term Starts (SIS-197631) [Enhancement]
Teachers can now send messages to students with future roster start dates before the first day of the term using Classroom Messenger. Previously, teachers could send messages to students early if they did not have a Roster Start Date, which was common practice unless the student was starting the section late. However, Cross-Site Enrollment setup automatically adds a future Roster Start Date, necessitating a change in Classroom Messenger logic.

Curriculum Import - Characters Not Valid for Windows File Paths (SIS-191932)
Previously, attempting to import curriculum files that contained characters not valid for Windows file paths caused the Import to fail. Logic has been added to handle filenames with these characters.

Curriculum Import File Upload Limitation (SIS-197550)
Previously, the Curriculum Import tool could not upload files with names exceeding 100 characters due to a limitation in the Campus Digital Repository. To address this issue, file names that exceed 100 characters are now truncated in the middle and replaced with "---" when the Curriculum Import tool uploads files to the CDR.

Census - Add Parameter to get_library Extract to Allow Removal of SSN Values (SIS-176935)
The get_library extract has been updated to include a new parameter (@includeSSN) that allows users to exclude Social Security Numbers from the report. This change provides users with more control over the sensitive data included in the get_library extract.

Summer EBT Address Information (SIS-199830) [Enhancement]
An Address Information editor has been added to the Summer EBT Program tool. This allows the selection of student household addresses marked as mailing from a dropdown field as well as manual entry of address information where appropriate.
This address information syncs from district to state for State Edition customers. Manually entered addresses only appear in the Summer EBT Program record. They do not appear in Census > Addresses for selection or association with other households in Campus.
Some districts or states may require this information for the purpose of mailing EBT cards. Address requirements may vary by state.

Classroom Integrations
LTI 1.3 - My Curriculum Content Selection Placement (SIS-199309)
The issue with the "My Curriculum Content Selection" placement for LTI 1.3 connections has been resolved. Previously, users were able to attach LTI content in My Curriculum, but could not launch the attached content. This has been fixed, and now users can both attach and launch LTI content frin My Curriculum if the LTI partner has the "My Curriculum Content Selection" placement checked.

OneRoster 1.1 - Ordering of User Orgs (SIS-200172)
The orgs list returned by the OneRoster v1p1 students/users/teachers endpoints had no guaranteed ordering, relying on whatever order the database returned school associations. This caused intermittent test failures when comparing user data across different retrieval paths (view, sequence table, dateLastModified), since the same orgs could return in different orders. Logic has been updated to return the primary org first, such as the school with the Primary enrollment or the earliest District Assignment, followed by additional orgs, ending with the district org.

SSRS reports now use POST requests to prevent parameter-length limits on large student selections and improve support for cascading default values.

Dependent Care maintenance updates with usability improvements, configuration updates, receipt enhancements, and fixes for access, registration, data entry, and workflow issues.

Dependent Care Update (SIS-200022) [Enhancement]
The following Dependent Care updates have been made:
- A display issue on the Sessions & Rates screen when switching between a Weekly and Monthly invoice schedule has been corrected.
- Users are now able to "Reset" the form if they originally "Declined" the consent to use electronic signatures when they click Save & Next. This allows them to open the form and "Accept" electronic signatures without having to delete the draft and start over.
- The connection error when scheduling student care has been corrected.
- Program Financial Activity and Student Financial Activity report duplicities have been corrected.

Dependent Care Attendance Update (SIS-200427)
An issue that caused attendance to lock down for all programs when invoicing was run before the current day has been resolved. Attendance locking has been adjusted to impact only programs using Flexible Attendance.

Overdue Job Automatically Assigns Inactive Late Payment Charges (SIS-200444)
A bug in the invoicing system was causing inactive late payment charges to be automatically assigned to students resulting in guardians being invoiced for inactive late payment charges. This has been corrected.

Dependent Care Update (SIS-200449)
- The Dependent Care tool has been updated to allow Administrators to select/edit flexible schedules through a monthly selection editor.
- The following items can no longer be edited/are view-only once an invoice is generated that encompasses their applicable effective dates:

FRAM Letter to Household Template (SIS-200250)
The required Richard B Russell statement in the FRAM Letter to Household (Step 4, Footer) was missing for the 26-27 template. This has been fixed for generation of new letters.
Any district that generated their FRAM>Setup>FRAM Communication>Online Application Content>Letter to Household for 26-27 prior to taking the release Campus.2623.10 or Campus.2627.2, must confirm the required language below appears in Step 4 (Footer) of the Letter to Household. If missing, insert the required language found below in Step 4 before the first paragraph. After updating the required language and saving, it will update what appears on the portal Meal Benefits Application. You should not have to delete and regenerate the entire letter. The required language is:
"The Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act requires the information on this application. You do not have to give the information, but if you do not, we cannot approve your child for free or reduced price meals. You must include the last four digits of the social security number of the adult household member who signs the application. The last four digits of the social security number is not required when you apply on behalf of a foster child or you list a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) case number or other FDPIR identifier for your child or when you indicate that the adult household member signing the application does not have a social security number. We will use your information to determine if your child is eligible for free or reduced price meals, and for administration and enforcement of the lunch and breakfast programs. We MAY share your eligibility information with education, health, and nutrition programs to help them evaluate, fund, or determine benefits for their programs, auditors for program reviews, and law enforcement officials to help them look into violations of program rules."

Document Archiving Script Added (SIS-198865)
A script was added that, when run, converts old documents into PDFs and stores them in CDR. No visible UI change will occur for users. They will still have access to these documents; they will just be stored in CDR as PDFs instead of live documents.

- The value displays on the Section Information tool at the Home School as read-only.
- The value displays when viewing the course and its sections in the left-hand search panel.

Section Roster - Display PDF for Forms, Document icon (SIS-196892)
Forms configured to display in the Section Roster were not populating with data when viewed from the roster. However, the same forms displayed correctly when accessed through the student's Forms tool. Additionally, the Documents column in the Section Roster did not display the paper icon for students with assigned forms that were configured to appear on the roster.

Walk-in Scheduler Tool Rights(SIS-199845)
Previously, users who were assigned full rights to the Walk-in Scheduler reported not being able to load courses to a student's schedule unless they also had rights to Staff Planner. This has been corrected. Tool rights to Staff Planner are not needed to load courses in Walk-in Scheduler.

Scheduling Board - Run Load Alternates and Walk-In Scheduler order of requests (SIS-200068)
Loading alternate requests in the Scheduling Board did not load them in the same order as alternate requests were loaded in the Walk-In Scheduler. This has been corrected.
The Scheduling Board now loads the alternate requests in the same order as the Walk-In Scheduler. After the alternate requests are loaded, they may not display in the same sequential order.
Also, scheduled requests are now sorted in the same order as unscheduled requests.

State Edition
New - State to District Login (SIS-198546) [Enhancement]
New State to District Login functionality has been added for state edition customers. This feature allow state users to enable login from the state edition to DIS-connected district editions via a special user group. State edition users can log in without needing to share logins or maintain separate district edition accounts. Their access to limited to Read-only (where supported by tool rights) and is more trackable than other homegrown solutions.
To enable State to District Login, a user at the state edition toggles the option on and adds district edition URLs to the State to District Login Administration tool and then creates a User Group with the State to District Edition checkbox marked and add users to that group. Those users can then visit the State to District Login tool, where they can log in directly to district sites using a auto-generated State to District account.
Note: the option to use State to District Login is not available for users who have used the Log In as User option to access an account.

California CALPADS Student Discipline Reporting Improvement (SIS-200426)
The SINC file for California CALPADS student discipline reporting has been updated to address an issue where students were being included in the report even if their behavior event did not have a state code, as long as another student in the same event had a restraint or seclusion response. Now, only the student with the state-coded resolution is included in the report when a behavior event has multiple students.

The Students Ed-Fi resource has been updated for the 2026-2027 school year. The field name previously known as ‘asOfStatusLastFridayOctoberDescriptor’ has been changed to ‘asOfStatusFirstFridayOctoberDescriptor’. This change has also been reflected in the user interface. Additionally, the following codes have been deactivated:
- A: Enrolled prior school year, not in current year
- F: No prior year, not w/in SSW, on as-of date
- G: No prior year, w/in SSW, not on as-of datename an
The field name was updated in the Ed-Fi Configuration, and automapping no longer considers the deactivated codes.
A resync of the Students resource is required for this update.

A new checkbox, Report Protected Identities, was added to the "CTERS" and "Positions and Exits" reports. When marked, the report pulls demographic data from the Legal Identity fields.
