To further improve accessibility, all top bar buttons were updated to control expandable/collapsible sections within tools as well as ensuring all menu states announce properly for screen readers.

Activity Registration

Activity Registration Accessibility Enhancements (SIS-175713) [Enhancement] 

Accessibility enhancements were made in the Parent Portal for Activity Registration.

Activity Registration Maintenance (SIS-178426)

The following updates have been made to the Activity Registration tool:

  • For any products and activities utilizing free/reduced pricing, the pricing will now be based on the parent/guardian’s response to the School Store and Activity Registration Permission from their Meal or Educational Benefits application.
  • No-Show students were posting to the course section roster. This has been corrected.
  • An error would occur where the Activity Roster would not load properly. This has been corrected.

Form Complete Count (SIS-178593)

The Form Complete count on the Activity Dashboard and Monitor was including In Progress students. This has been corrected.

Selection Editor Ad Hoc (SIS-179043)

When an Activity was assigned a Selection Editor Ad hoc, students not on the Ad hoc could register for the Activity. This has been corrected.

Objects Removed from State Editions (SIS-177875)

Ad hoc objects associated with data not included in the DIS sync were removed from State Editions.

Assessments

Assessment Data Syncing Updated (SIS-177930)

When Assessment test structures and test scores are published from the State Edition to District Editions, accurate records reflecting district changes sync back to the State Edition when a District Edition user:

  • Edits the published test scores or creates test score records for published tests (when "Prohibits Districts from Editing State/National Test Scores" is not checked).

The ‘dbo.testScore.modifiedByID’ of the user who creates/edits the record as described above displays in the State Edition, so it is evident who modified the record and when.

Campus Instruction

Selecting Section Groups for Reports (SIS-178289)

Prior to the release of Campus.2411, teachers could select a Section Group when generating a report whose editor includes a multi-section selector. This ability has been restored.

Google Drive Sign In (SIS-178422)

Previously, Google Drive users were not prompted to sign in when they should have been. This issue occurred in the newer version of Chrome and has been corrected.

New - Curriculum Import (Beta) (SIS-176953) [Enhancement] 

A new version of the Curriculum Import has been added. This tool allows teachers to import curriculum cartridges that meet the required Common Cartridge specifications, which they can then add to their sections in Campus.

Curriculum Import is currently in beta status and is available to a limited number of customers.

Campus Student & Parent

Campus Student & Parent Accessibility Updates (SIS-178286) [Enhancement] 

Extensive updates have been made to Campus Student and Campus Parent to improve accessibility, including improving behavior when using a screen reader or keyboard navigation. The following tools have been updated: Academic Plan, Activity Registration, Assignment, Attendance, Classroom, Contact List, Curriculum, Custom Forms, Documents, Food Service, Grades, Home, Payments, Responsive Scheduling, and School Store, as well as improvements to the Student details screen and general navigation.

Mobile Push Notifications (SIS-178664) [Enhancement] 

Updates have been made to improve delivery performance for mobile push notifications.

Census

Cross-Site Enrollment Census Record Transfer Information (SIS-177792) [Enhancement] 

When a student is scheduled into a Cross-Site course in another district (Interdistrict Serving School), Census Data is now sent to that Serving School so the Cross-Site enrollment record can be created and the student can be scheduled into the course.

The Census information sent to the Serving School/District includes demographics/identities, contact information, and guardian information for that student.

Census – Cross-Site Enrollment (SIS-178667) [Enhancement] 

When a student is enrolled at an Inter-District Serving School, the Person Summary Report is sent to the Serving District to be uploaded to the CDR. When the upload happens, a link will be emailed to the Contact Person so that they can view the Person Summary Report and make changes if needed.

Data Change Tracker

Programs - Add Programs to Data Change Tracker (SIS-177207)

The following programs have been added as options that may be tracked via Data Change Tracker for any states that use them.

Data Utilities

Combine Person Update to Address Form Tool Error (SIS-176852)

Previously, an issue occurred where the Forms tool was not loading when a Form was created by a person who had been merged with another person using the Combine Person tool. To correct this issue, the Combine Person tool has been updated to pull in records for Created By and Modified By for Forms.

Roster Records Not Syncing to State Editions (SIS-178860)

There was an issue with roster records not syncing to the state despite a lack of errors in the DIS log and the batch resync page reflecting the same number of processed vs. errors. This issue was corrected, and roster records sync to State Editions as expected.

Early Warning

Early Warning Updated for Cross-Site Enrollments (SIS-178108) [Enhancement] 

The Early Warning tool was updated to consider the new cross-site enrollment functionality, which introduces the concept of a Serving School and a Home School.

Students with an active SERVING school enrollment:

  • DO NOT generate daily, monthly, or yearly Early Warning scores in the SERVING school calendar.
  • DO generate daily, monthly, and yearly Early Warning scores in the HOME school calendar.

Flagged Assignments Report Not Loading in All Browsers (SIS-178277)

The Insights Flagged Assignments Report failed to load in Chrome and Edge web browsers. The report previously compiled all assignments for the selected calendar. This resulted in an extensive data set near the end of the school year that timed out and failed to display for large schools. This issue has been resolved.

The report was updated to limit the query to the previous 60 days of assignments to allow for targeted intervention, help the data set size remain relatively static, and enhance the report's performance. It loads and displays as expected in all Campus-supported browsers.

Prediction Notification Added (SIS-178933) [Enhancement] 

The Early Warning tool utilizes student and District data to identify trends and predict a student's progression toward graduation. The following notification displays during a District's first year on the Infinite Campus system because there is no previous year of data for comparison to accurately assess whether the behavior/curriculum /attendance events are part of a larger pattern. This notification automatically disappears when the District enters its second year and the available data pool increases.

Early Warning GRAD Score generation recommends two years of observable SIS data. Shifts in a student's GRAD score will normalize as more data is available/entered into the SIS

Ed-Fi

Ed-Fi Delete Logic Update for Discipline Incidents (SIS-178246)

The Delete and Delete tool logic has been updated to add a check for the Student Discipline Incident Behavior Non-Offender Associations resource when determining if a Discipline Incidents record should be deleted.

A resync on the Discipline Incidents resource needs to be completed with this update.

Cross-Site Courses can now be scheduled into the same period/term (block) as another Cross-Site Course or regular course. This matches current Walk-In Scheduler functionality and allows the staff person to keep the scheduled course, to drop the scheduled course or replace the scheduled course.

Cross-Site Enrollment allows students to enroll in another school to take a course that may not offered at their home school. Cross-Site Enrollment tooling is available for Intradistrict (within one district) and Interdistrict (between multiple districts).

Cross-Site Grading Setup - Notifications and Report (SIS-178353) [Enhancement] 

The Notification Settings in the Cross-Site Enrollment Setup tool has been expanded to include users who should be notified about changes to Grading setup, such as when tasks or standards are added or updated, when Credit Groups or scoring setup is changed, or when data from Course Masters is pushed to Courses.

Additionally, a Cross-Site Invalid Grade Mapping report has been released, which can be used at the Home School to locate grading setup that may be incorrect or incomplete. These issues may exist as a result of incomplete setup at the Home School or changes to grading setup made at a Serving School.

Scheduling Board Showing Negative Section Numbers (SIS-178389)

Scheduling Board Freezing when Saving (SIS-178491)

In the Scheduling Board, When adding multiple students to a course and then saving and closing that trial, the process freezes. Checkout and Inventory Fix (SIS-175341)

If the total count of an inventory limited item in the cart exceeded the stock in Infinite Campus, an error occurred at payment, resulting in the payment method being charged without the items being credited to the user account. This has been corrected.

When a user selected an item that was out of stock, an error occurred in the Portal where the ""Out of Stock"" label no longer appeared. This has been corrected.

ACME Status Tool Added (SIS-178439) [Enhancement] 

A new Automated Certificate Management Environment (ACME) Status tool has been created. This tool is used by Infinite Campus to manage and maintain a site’s connection to centralized services and does not require users to interact or use its functionality in any way.

This tool is entirely informational for customers; you cannot break or change anything by interacting with it. However, if your connection to a centralized service is disrupted, this tool allows Infinite Campus to quickly and easily correct this issue.

LDAP Authentication Missing from Authentication Type Droplist Default System Preference (SIS-179126)

For sites with LDAP configured, the Authentication Type Droplist Default preference within System Preferences was failing to present LDAP Authentication as an option. This issue was corrected.

SSO Authentication Login Button Still Requiring Use Regardless of Authentication Type Set (SIS-179127)

The logic for the Course Transcripts and Student Academic Record resources was updated to report course outcomes for grades KG-12 (Grades KG-08 were previously not reported).

The course outcome values were added to the Course Attempt Result Descriptors section of the Resource Preferences for the Course Transcripts resource. The values display in the Course Outcome droplist under the State Reporting Fields section of the Section Student Detail.

North Carolina - Auto-Fill Course Data (SIS-178138) [Enhancement] 

To assist with course management for State Editions and District Editions linked to State Editions, course data now auto-fills in District Edition installations when a course has the State Course Code populated at the State Edition.

To achieve this auto-fill, additional fields were added to the Course Code Setup tool in State Edition:

  • Transcript - indicates the course should be included on student Transcripts
  • Type - indicates whether the course is AP, Community College, etc.
  • Weight - indicates the GPA Weight of the course.

These new fields are editable for State Edition users and when synced to District Edition, viewable (NOT editable) for District Edition users.

When a new Course Master is created in District Edition, selecting the State Code from the dropdown list populates the course data associated with the Course Code entered in State Edition. Course Number and Course Name values can be modified, but the other fields cannot.

The logic for reporting the Food PGM Participation Code element on the PIMS Student Template and PIMS Student Snapshot Template has been updated for Pennsylvania.

Rhode Island

Rhode Island - Grade Earned Report (SIS-175192)

The Grade Earned Report has been modified to use the Locally Assigned Course ID instead of the Local Section ID.

Additionally, the report now only reports Grading Tasks that contain the word 'Final'.

South Dakota

South Dakota - Homeless Extract Updates (SIS-174653)

The Homeless Extract has been updated to report only students considered homeless in the district in which the student is currently enrolled.

When a student has multiple records of homelessness, only the record from the district generating the report is included.

South Dakota - State Seal of Biliteracy Available (SIS-175876)

The Student Graduation record now includes a State Seal of Biliteracy section. It only needs to be populated for those students who meet the qualifications of Biliteracy. This information reports on the BOR Transcript.

South Dakota Special Ed IEP Services Fix (SIS-178618)

An issue when entering a Service record on a South Dakota Individual Education Plan clearing out existing Service and Goal records has been fixed.

Virginia

Virginia Enrollment Start and End Status Value Updates (SIS-173330)

Several Local Start Status codes have been added to the Virginia Enrollment tool, including:

  • E112: Original entry of a DJJ student into a juvenile detention facility
  • R112: Re-entry of a DJJ student into a juvenile detention facility
  • R220: Re-entry from Home-education instruction
  • R221: Re-entry into Home-education instruction within the same LEA

The Local Exit/Withdrawal Code, W223: Transfer to Home-education instruction, was also added.

Virginia Attribute Dictionary Description Update (SIS-175016)

The description for the Role for code 5 has been updated to Long Term Substitute for Vacant Position in the Attribute Dictionary.

The list of state Test Codes available in the Assessment Center has been updated for Virginia.

Wisconsin – Ed-Fi Student Special Education Program Eligibility Associations Update (SIS-170907)

The Student Special Education Program Eligibility Associations resource has been updated to send only one record when multiple enrollments exist with overlapping dates.

A resync on the Student Special Education Program Eligibility Associations resource needs to be completed with this update.

Wisconsin Special Ed IEP and ISP Update (SIS-177335)

Several updates have been made to the Wisconsin Individual Education Plan and Individual Service Plan:

  • on the (I-5) Annual Review of Goals editor, when Met is selected as the "Was the goal/short term objective or benchmark met?" question, the following text field, Student's current progress, is now required.
  • when Not Met is selected, then the "Student's current progress" and "Include factors affecting lack of progress and plan to address in new IEP" fields are required and the Not Applicable checkbox becomes unavailable.

Wisconsin - Membership Override Fields to Pupil Count Program (SIS-177861)

The Membership Override fields (3rd Fri of Sept Mem Override, 2nd Fri of Jan Mem Override, and 1st Fri of May Mem Ovrd - Milwaukee) have been moved from Enrollments to the Pupil Count State Program.

Wisconsin - Ed-Fi Student School Associations Update for Pupil Count Fields (SIS-178146)

The Student School Associations resource has been updated to look at the new location for the three Membership Override fields on the Pupil Count tool for Pupil Count/Membership reporting.

A resync on the Student School Associations resource needs to be completed with this update.

Wyoming

Wyoming Special Ed IEP and CSP Updates (SIS-178409)

All Indirect Minutes fields on the Wyoming Individual Education Plan and Comparable Services Plan are no longer required. This field is located on the following editors:

  • SPED Services
  • Related Services
  • Supplementary Services
  • Modifications Services (IEP only)
  • Supports for School Personnel (IEP only)
