Because Cross-Site Enrollment functionality is enrollment-based, availability of Cross-Site Enrollment tooling is being released on a state-by-state basis after state reports have been reviewed and modified, when needed, to address any enrollment logic that would play a part in the Cross-Site Enrollment features.
Cross-Site Enrollment functionality was first released in Campus.2423 Release Pack (June 2024). Subsequent release packs have made additional updates available. As always, review the Release Pack articles for updated information.
In order for Cross-District functionality to be enabled for your district and state, each district needs to have a Unique URL and CDR documents transitioned to Campus Cloud Storage to support the sharing of data between districts.
If your district is a Cloud Choice District, you already have a Unique URL, so you are halfway there.
If you are a Cloud District, you must request migration to a new Unique URL from Managed Services.- This migration will require you to update any configurations you use for connections or authentications from or to your district's site, as this new URL will break those connections.
- All cloud districts will be moved to this unique URL in Summer 2025. This is to support the sharing of documents between districts and (in a future development effort) allow documents to be available in more locations in your district, including Portal and Messenger.
Movement to Campus Cloud Document Storage is a simple configuration that can be done at any time. You will see no functionality or performance constraints. If you are interested in migrating sooner, please contact your Client Relationship Manager for more details.
