Student Information– Activity Eligibility Report Update (SIS-58697)
If a student was scheduled into multiple sections of the same course during the same term, the Activity Eligibility Report only pulled grades from one of the course sections instead of both. This has been fixed.

Activity Registration
Activity Registration Maintenance (SIS-148638)
The following improvements were made to the Activity Roll Forward tool.
- The error message that displays for the user when they attempt to delete a custom form associated with an activity was improved.
- The Inventory Limit now rolls forward from the original activity. Previously, the limit was reduced by the number that was purchased on the original activity. This issue was corrected.
- A new checkbox called Fill All was added to the second step of the roll forward process. The Fill All checkbox allows users to quickly select all activities and use the Fill Information window to assign registration and activity dates en masse.
- The Update Forms panel was updated to allow users to mark the default form as required. In addition, the Form Title field was changed to be a dropdown list and allows users to change the forms without having to remove them.
- The error messages that can display when users complete the roll forward now display in a window that is easier to read.
- It's now easier for users to ignore activities that they initially selected to roll forward but later decided not to complete. Campus displays an alert that lists the activities that cannot roll forward because of missing data. At that point, the user can choose to continue by ignoring those activities or return to the Activity Roll Forward tool to complete the missing information.

Campus was not saving the correct registration and activity dates in the database when new activities were created using the Activity Roll Forward tool. This issue was causing activities to display in Campus Student and Campus Parent portal when they should not and hiding other activities when they should have displayed. This issue was corrected.

Ad hoc Reporting
Ad Hoc Reporting–Chronic Absenteeism Information Tool Rights Not Respecting Ad Hoc Reporting (SIS-149308)
In Ad Hoc Reporting, State Edition users can view Aggregated Attendance details if they minimally have Read tool rights to Chronic Absenteeism Information (Tool Rights Path: Attendance > Chronic Absenteeism Information). When a user with qualifying tool rights attempted to view the aggregated attendance data in Ad hoc they incorrectly received an error token. This has been fixed.

Uncategorized Assignments in the Control Center (SIS-142889)
Previously, uncategorized assignments displayed in the assignment list of the Control Center, but the assignments could not be opened because they did not have grading alignments and an error occurred. This has been corrected. A new filter has been added to the assignment list for Unaligned assignments. When a teacher clicks one of these assignments to view it, they will be prompted to setup grading for the assignment, after which it can be scored.

Missing Assignments with Scores (SIS-147958)
When a teacher enters a score for an assignment flagged as Missing, a warning displays. An assignment can only be flagged as Missing and have a score if it has been received from another program through the OneRoster API. In this instance, logic has been updated so that if the teacher clicks Cancel in that warning, the existing score is not deleted.

A new Sort Name field has been added to custom Menu Item, Category, and Tool editors within the Custom Tools Placement Editor. Using this new field, users can customize the sequence of these items (alphanumerically) within Navigation Tree.
Note: The Sort Name field is only available for custom Menu Items, Categories, and Tools. You cannot sequence core tools.

Form Batch Setup Fix (SIS-148958)
An issue with the Check Status screen on the Form Batch Setup tool not loading if an Enrollment for a student is deleted has been resolved. If the student's Enrollment has been deleted after a Form has been generated, "No grade found" displays in the Grade column. For eSignature Forms, an End Date may be entered to allow the Form on the Portal to expire.

For proper salary reporting on the STAR LA Extract, a new field called ""Additional Pay Types"" was added to the extract editor. Users can select additional Pay Types to include in the report. Inactive Payments Added to Recurring Payments Report (SIS-144704) [Enhancement]
Districts can now see inactive payments on the Recurring Payments Report. A recurring payment becomes inactive when it reaches its End Date or when the portal user deletes or modifies the payment. A new toggle called "Display Inactive Recurring Payments" was added to the screen. When set to ON, inactive and active recurring payments display. The inactive payments will display with the label "inactive" or "deleted."
As part of this change, the following new columns were added to the report. These new fields only display if you add them using the "Select Column" tool.

A new feature called "Templates" was added to the Payments Reporter. Templates allow you to save a custom view of the Payments Reporter and use it again later. Deposit Request Reference and Deposit Request Date Added to Payments Reporter (SIS-149150) [Enhancement]
The Deposit Request Reference and Deposit Request Date were added to the Payments Reporter to help districts with bank reconciliation. The Deposit Request Reference is the ID the payment platform sends to Campus when Campus requests a disbursement. The Deposit Request Date is the date when Campus requested the payments to be disbursed to the bank accounts. A Deposit Request Reference number is attached to each request.
The Payment Method and Payment Source columns are now automatically hidden but can be displayed using the Select Columns tool.

Requests Satisfied Report - Incorrect Roster Counts (SIS-148757)
The Requests Satisfied Report was including roster counts from non-active trials. This has been corrected. When running the report from Scheduling Reports, only the currently active trial in the selected calendar is used to return data. When running the report from the Schedule Wizard, the currently open trial is used to return data.

Walk-In Scheduler - Courses with Combined Scheduling Rule (SIS-149149) (148873)
When using the Combined Scheduling Rule, searching for courses in the Walk-In Scheduler returned an error. This was related to there being three or more combined course sections, differing student counts for the combined sections, and differing max seat counts for the combined sections. In addition, the total number of students scheduled into a section that is combined was incorrect.

Character Lab Student Thriving Index Now Available (SIS-147874) [Enhancement]
The Student Thriving Index is now available. This tool is used for the formative assessment of student social, emotional, academic, and physical well-being. This survey was developed by Dr. Angela Duckworth, CEO of Character Lab with support from researchers in their research network and feedback from Character Lab school partners.
Repeated participation in the Student Thriving Index allows schools and organizations to monitor student well-being topics such as sleep habits, social media use, and sense of belonging. School staff, district leaders, or organizational leaders can act on the results by identifying areas for improvement and sharing relevant resources to support their students. This input from educators and students helps to encourage student participation and create content aligned with their needs.

The following changes were made to the EL WIDA Student Pre-ID Extract.
- A new Effective Date field and an Accommodation Date Range field was added so that districts can find accommodations within a date range.
- Reporting logic was updated so that the student must be in grade KG-12 and 31, AND the student must be actively enrolled on the report generation Effective Date. The EL > State Localized Elements > Student Status must be J, K, L OR M AND the Action Code is 06 AND the student has a failing grade in a core subject.

In Infinite Campus, the Protected Identity area contains five fields: Legal First Name, Legal Last Name, Legal Middle Name, Legal Suffix, and Legal Gender. This case updated all Maryland state reporting to use the following logic:
- If Legal First Name, Legal Last Name, or Legal Middle Name are not BLANK, then all five fields must be used on the extract to report the First Name, Last Name, Middle Name, Suffix, and Gender.
- If only the Legal Gender is not blank, report the Legal Gender and use the Name Fields from the Identity tab (Not the Protected Identity area).

Legacy 2-digit State Enrollment Status codes have been replaced by new 4-digit codes provided by the State. These new codes will use the Code field to house the new 4-digit code and the Standard Code field to house both the 2-digit legacy code and 4-digit SIF code.
The following SIF StudentSchoolEnrollment elements has been updated to parse the Standard Code column to report either the 4 digit SIF code or 2 digit legacy code when looking at State Enrollment Status codes for element reporting logic:
- ExitType/Code - Reports 4 digit SIF code

The [@Name=”ServicesOnly”] element has been updated to report as follows:

The SMART SID Management Extract has been updated for the 2021-22 school year. New fields that report in the SMART State Submission are now included in this extract, several fields have been moved in the layout, and a few fields have been removed (Cumulative Days in Membership, Cumulative Days Present and Cumulative Days Towards Truancy).
In addition, Attendance Validation Tools have been added - one for attendance period details and one for attendance day details. These validation tools can be used to review student attendance data prior to submitting the SID Management Extract to the state.

The following changes were made for state cross-file validation.
COURSE
- When the Submission Schedule is 40D, 80D, 120D, or EOY, report logic was updated to report a record per Course > State Course Code per School from the Calendars selected on the extract editor where at least one Section is scheduled at any time during the School Year of the Calendar selected on the extract editor.
COURSE_ENROLL
- The report logic was updated to report all students actively on the roster on/between a specific date range based on the Submission Schedule selected on the Extract Editor:
- 40D - Calendar start up to & including the 2nd Wednesday of October.
- 80D - Date after 2nd Wednesday of October up to & including the first M-F date in December.
- 120D - Date after first M-F date in December up to & including second Wednesday of February.
- EOY - Date after the second Wednesday of February up to & including the last calendar date.
CRSE_INSTRUCT
- The requirement that a section must have at least one student rostered at any time in the section to report was removed for all submission schedules.

The following updates were made to the StudentParticipation object:
- Population logic was updated to the following:
- For each locked IEP (with any Print Format) in the Zone calendar year, report an instance of StudentParticipation when the IEP Start Date <= current Date, and the student has a Primary enrollment on or inside the IEP Start Date and IEP End Date range.
- When Student has a locked, “Initial” Evaluation at any time during the SIF Zone Year, and does NOT have a locked IEP during the Zone Year, report a StudentParticipation instance.
- When a SIF element in the object pulls from enrollment, it must pull from the most recent (latest Start Date) Primary enrollment tied to the IEP in the Zone Year.
- All references to a specific IEP Print Format have been removed.
- Logic for the EvalulationParentalConsentDate has been updated to the following:
- Reports the date in (Student Info>Special Ed>Documents>Evaluation>Consent Date) when student has a locked Evaluation with an Evaluation Type = Initial, AND the Evaluation Date is most recent that is <= the current date (and within the SIF Zone Year) ONLY WHEN one of the following are True:
- The selected IEP has a Special Ed Status = N, R or I.
