Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

General Compliance

  • Vaccine doses administered less than or equal to 4 days before the minimum interval or age are counted as valid.
  • Doses administered 5 days earlier than the minimum interval or age are not counted as valid doses and must be repeated as age-appropriate.

The following rules are included for all vaccines (These rules do not apply to students who do not have a requirement for Tdap):

  • the student is in state grade: K3: 3-yr-old KG, K4: 4-yr-old KG, PK: Pre-Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 
  • the student receives three or more doses of the DT, DTAP/DTP, Td, or Tdap vaccines with one dose received after age 4, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Polio

Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives three doses of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV vaccines, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.
4 doses K-12
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student receives four doses of the IPV, OPV, or IPV/OPV vaccines.

Measles Mumps Rubella MMR

1M, 1M, 1R PreK

Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: K3: 3-yr-old KG, K4: 4-yr-old KG, PK: Pre-Kindergarten,
  • the student receives one dose of the Measles vaccine,
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives one dose of the Mumps,
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives one dose of the Rubella,
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

2 doses K-12

Compliant

Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives two doses of the MMR or MMRV vaccines, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1MMR, 1M, 1M, 1R K-12

Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: K3: 3-yr-old KG, K4: 4-yr-old KG, PK: Pre-Kindergarten,
  • the student receives one dose of the MMR or MMRV vaccine,
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, 
  • the student receives one dose of the Measles vaccine,
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives one dose of the Mumps,
    • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives one dose of the Rubella,

  • the student receives two doses of the Measles vaccine,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives two doses of the Mumps,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR
  • the student receives two dose of the Rubella,
    • the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Hepatitis B

Varicella

Students in state grade(s): K3: 3-yr-old KG, K4: 4-yr-old KG, PK: Pre-Kindergarten, KG: Kindergarten, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 are not required to receive any doses of the Tdap vaccine.

1 Tdap grades 07-12

Compliant

Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Tdap vaccine.
1 dose within 5 yrs of 7th grade
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade 07,
  • the student receives one dose of the TD, DT, or DTaP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose the start of 7th grade for the student is less than or equal to 59 months with a 1 day tolerance.
1 dose with 6 yrs of 8th grade
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade 08,
  • the student receives one dose of the TD, DT, or DTaP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose the start of 8th grade for the student is less than or equal to 71 months with a 1 day tolerance.
1 dose with 7 yrs of 9th grade
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade 09,
  • the student receives one dose of the TD, DT, or DTaP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose the start of 9th grade for the student is less than or equal to 83 months with a 1 day tolerance.
1 dose with 8 yrs of 10th grade
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade 10,
  • the student receives one dose of the TD, DT, or DTaP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose the start of 10th grade for the student is less than or equal to 95 months with a 1 day tolerance.
1 dose with 9 yrs of 11th grade
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade 11,
  • the student receives one dose of the TD, DT, or DTaP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose the start of 11th grade for the student is less than or equal to 107 months with a 1 day tolerance.
1 dose with 10 yrs of 12th grade
Compliant
Students are considered compliant when the following conditions have been met:
  • the student is in state grade 12,
  • the student receives one dose of the TD, DT, or DTaP vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose the start of 12th grade for the student is less than or equal to 119 months with a 1 day tolerance.
Default
Behind Schedule
Students are considered behind schedule when they are in state grade(s): 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, and have not received any doses of the Tdap vaccine.

Meningococcal

Students in state grade(s) K3, K4, PK, KG, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 08, 09, 10, or 11 are not required to receive any doses of the Meningococcal vaccine.
7th grade
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • they are in state grade(s) 07,
  • they have received one dose of the MenACWY or MCV4 Meningococcal vaccine and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 120 months (10 years) with a 4-day tolerance.
12th grade 2 doses
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • they are in state grade(s) 12, and
  • they have received two doses of the MenACWY or MCV4 Meningococcal vaccine.
12th grade 1 dose
Compliant
Students are compliant when:
  • they are in state grade(s) 12,
  • they have received one dose of the MenACWY or MCV4 Meningococcal vaccine and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 120 months (10 years) with a 4-day tolerance.
Default
Behind Schedule
Students who do not meet the above requirements are considered Behind Schedule.
