Tool Search: Homeless
The Homeless tool records basic homeless information as well as district-defined fields. Information reports on the Homeless Extract.
Student Homeless RecordCreate a Homeless Record
- Select the New icon. The Homeless Detail editor displays.
- Enter the Start Date for this student becoming homeless.
- Select the appropriate Program Status option.
- Select the appropriate option for Primary Nighttime Residence option.
- Select the appropriate option Unaccompanied Youth - either Yes or No.
- Mark the Homeless Served checkbox when the student is being served by a Homeless program such a McKinney-Vento.
Homeless Fields

| Primary Night Time Residence | Primary Nighttime Residence indicates the student's living situation at the time the student was identified as Homeless.

| Unaccompanied Youth | Indicates the student is experiencing homelessness and is not in the physical custody of a parent or guardian.
