Release notes provide the applicable personnel the ability to review enhancements, modifications, and regulated changes prior to accepting an update. It is advised that users review the release notes carefully and alert appropriate district staff to changes in Campus.

Activity Registration

Activity Registration Accessibility (SIS-183720)

Improved the accessibility of Activity Registration tools.

Activity Registration Maintenance (SIS-184390)

The following updates have been made to the Activity Registration tool:

  • Added a notification for guardians when they do not have the correct relationship rights to view custom forms in the Portal.
  • Fixed an error where Activities with no purchase options would roll forward.
  • Updated required field icons and labels to improve accessibility.
  • Added labels to multiple fields to improve accessibility.
  • Added additional function logic.

School Store Images (SIS-184745)

Updated the School Store/Category/Product card images to improve accessibility.

Assessment

Data Saving on Step 2 (SIS-176687)

Data was saved despite the user not selecting the option when navigating from Step 2-Data File Detail to Step 3-Map Data in the Assessment Center. This issue has been corrected.

The 'Instructions' text for Step 2 has also been updated to note data files are not stored for future use.

Assessment Result Update (SIS-176727)

Assessment Center functionality has been updated to insert the code value from the Results setup in Step 1-Test Detail when:

  • Mapping/importing test score data directly to Result
    AND
  • 'Calculate Value Using Grading Scale' action is set under Column Options

Fuzzy Matching Logic Maps Incorrectly (SIS-177778)

Fuzzy Matching Logic matched incorrectly on Step-3 Map Data in the Assessment Center. This issue has been corrected. Logic was updated to look for exact matches first and then apply fuzzy matching logic.

Error When Copying Tests (SIS-177915)

An error message was generated when users tried to copy a test that had data previously saved in Step 3-Map Data. This issue has been corrected.

Test Score Accommodation Character Updates (SIS-181290)

There was an issue with test scores that included accommodation codes not being imported into the Assessment Center. This issue has been resolved. The test score accommodation character limit was increased from two to three characters for score imports.

Character Limit Added to Test Name (SIS-183940)

An error was generated when users tried to import a file with a long test name. A 50-character limit has been added to the Test Name field of Step 1-Test Detail in the Assessment Center. Information text has also been added above the field to highlight the character maximum.

Data File Detail Warning (SIS-184525)

The alert warning, "You have unsaved changes. These changes will be lost if you choose to leave", was generated when users clicked 'Previous' after saving a file in Step 2-Data File Detail. This issue has been corrected.

Behavior

Behavior Resolution with Linked Attendance (SIS-181723)

An issue with attendance not being overwritten due to a behavior entry has been resolved.

Campus Learning

Quiz Accessibility (SIS-184399)

Updates have been made to Quizzes to improve accessibility, including for screen reader users and keyboard navigation. In addition to general improvements, the following updates have been made:

  • Accessibility has been improved for drag and drop-style Fill in the Blank questions: users can either click and drag answers to place them or click the response option and then click the response blank to place the response.
  • Where helpful, screen reader-only text has been added to explain accessibility features to screen reader users.

Curriculum Library Search (SIS-184417)

Previously, content in file attachments was not included in search results. This has been corrected.

Previously, when editing a Fill in the Blank question, users would sometimes receive an error that the question didn't have any response blanks when the question did include response blanks. This has been corrected.

PDF Submissions (SIS-184811)

As a result of a recent change, PDF file submissions no longer displayed inline in the submission scoring screen. This has been corrected.

An issue where the birthdates were being removed when updates were made using the Portal Request Processor in error has been resolved.

State Edition - Cross-Site Enrollment Processing Removed (SIS-184785)

Cross-Site Enrollment processing has been removed from State Edition. This addresses failures that occurred during DIS Enrollment syncing in special conditions.

New Look of Campus - URL Link/URL Editors Passing Null studentID/staffID Parameter (SIS-185003)

URL links and URL editors using the ‘Pass user session’ functionality incorrectly passed a null studentID or staffID parameter if the staff or student ID contained an alpha character. This issue was corrected.

Data Utilities

Repeatedly Selecting Run Extract Button in Data Extract Zip Tool Logging Out Users (SIS-184140)

Repeatedly clicking the Run Extract button in the Data Extract Zip Tool was maxing out connections, leading to users being logged out of the system. To prevent this issue, now when the Run Extract button is selected, it becomes disabled until the extract has finished processing.

Validation Rule Name Updates (SIS-183723)

Updated the names of multiple Validation Rules to be more descriptive.

Ed-Fi Performance Update (SIS-184408)

An Ed-Fi Staff Section Associations query has been updated to help improve Ed-Fi processing performance.

Food Service

Terminal Reload Requests (SIS-176019)

Added a Terminal Reload Request to the Terminal Detail that shows the number of data reload requests in the last 30 days.

Terminal Reload Request Report (SIS-181731)

Added a Terminal Reload Request Report to the Terminal Detail. This report shows when a specific terminal has had a data reload in the last 30 days.

Auto-Inactivate POS Terminals (SIS-182665)

If a POS terminal app has not communicated with the server for three weeks, it will be inactivated (under Food Service > Administration > Terminals) and all pending messages from Infinite Campus will be deleted to improve server performance.

Users can reactivate the terminal and update POS data by performing a Data Reload on the POS Terminal Admin screen. The app can still be used before the reload, but data will not message from Infinite Campus to the app until the terminal is reactivated.

Forms

Forms eSignature Fields Added to Ad hoc (SIS-141619)

A new Form Status folder was added to the Ad hoc Filter Designer. The fields added to this folder allow users to query Custom Form eSignature information. See the Forms article for additional information.

Forms Review Participants Update (SIS-156498)

When users click the Review Participants button on the Forms tool, a side panel displays. Previously, parents/guardians with the correct relationship status to the student but no Campus Parent account did not display in the side panel. Staff members seeking to send a Custom Form for eSignature may not know a parent/guardian exists.

With this update, all parents/guardians display in the Review Participants side panel, indicating if the parent/guardian does not have an account. This also informs users when students don't have a Campus Student account when sending a Custom Form to a student. This update only applies to the Forms tool. Updates to the Activity Registration Review Participants side panel are forthcoming. See the Forms article for additional information.

Forms Review Participants Accessibility Fix (SIS-184358)

When users click the Review Participants button on the Forms tool, a side panel displays. Previously, this side panel was not trapping focus, and the field labels were not announcing their labels for screen readers. With this update, the side panel now traps focus, and all fields announce their labels to meet accessibility initiatives.

Custom Forms and Special Ed Plans eSignature Terms and Conditions Accessibility Fix (SIS-184708)

In a previous release, Campus.2451 (December 2024), the Terms and Conditions modal was updated for both Custom Forms and Special Ed Plans sent to the Campus Parent or Campus Student for eSignature. With this update, the Terms and Conditions modal now traps focus when it opens to make it more accessible for keyboard and screen reader users. Custom Forms Parents/Guardians Fillable Field Update (SIS-184710)

When a student has multiple parents/guardians, users can now select which person displays in which field on fillable Custom Forms.

Grading & Standards

Missing Grades Report Update (SIS-183481)

The Grades Report did not display correctly for the 'Missing Grades/Scores' option when anything other than 'All Teachers' was selected. This issue has been corrected.

Standards Bank Error Message (SIS-184375)

Previously, when copying standard groups in the Standards Bank, an error message displayed related to the underlying technology of that tool. This error message has been resolved.

Health

Health Condition List Enhancement (SIS-184709)

The Health Condition List tool now has a new read-only field, Origin. This field identifies the list from which this condition was created: ICD-9, ICD-10, or district-defined. A System Preference, Default Health Conditions, determines which list of conditions displays.

Learner Planning

Special Ed Campus Default IEP Rewrite (SIS-182793)

The Campus Default IEP was rewritten in the New Look of Campus.

Advanced Search Special Ed Logic Fix (SIS-183155)

In a previous release, Campus.2443 (October 2024), the logic for searching for students using the advanced Special Ed Status, Setting, and Disability fields was updated. For those states whose special education fields exist on the Enrollments and Special Ed Reporting tools, the Advanced Search for these fields was not working. This logic was fixed for Colorado and Wisconsin. See the following articles for additional information:

Special Ed Plan eSignature Enhancements (SIS-184444)

When sending a plan for eSignature on the Special Ed Documents tool, a dialog displays, allowing users to select which parent or guardian receives the plan on Campus Parent. This update enhances that dialog, informing users if any of the student's parents/guardians do not have an active Campus Parent account. Plans cannot be sent to a parent or guardian unless they have an active Campus Parent account. See the Special Ed eSignature Process article for additional information.

Text Displayed for Notifications in Bell Icon Updated to Match Other Condensed Notification Areas (SIS-184778)

The text displayed for notifications in the Bell icon has been updated to appear the same as condensed text used in other product areas (such as Discussion flags).

External LMS Exclude - Two Enrollments (SIS-184820)

Previously, if a student had multiple enrollments, such as regular year and summer school, enrollments marked as External LMS Exclude were not being considered correctly when determining the student's status in the OneRoster API. This has been corrected.

Payments Reporter Fix (SIS-182045)

An error occurred when trying to Export from the Payments Reporter unless a user had Read rights to the Deposit Reporter. This has been corrected.

Security

New Device Notification Emails Displaying HTML (SIS-180545)

Emails notifying users of a recent log into Infinite Campus using an unrecognized (new) device were incorrectly displaying HTML code instead of rendering it. This issue was corrected.

State-Specific Notes

Arizona

Arizona - Student School Food Service Program Associations Updates (SIS-183410)

The Student School Food Service Program Associations Resource has been updated for the following:

  • A record reports when the FRAM record is active within enrollment start and end dates. When the FRAM record is NOT within the enrollment dates, it is excluded.
  • When a student leaves the district and returns, multiple records report based on enrollment start/end dates.
    • Additional records do not post when the student has an End Status = ZZZ and a new enrollment with Start Status = ZZZ. These enrollments need to be combined and treated as a single enrollment in the ODS.

BIE

BIE-Error When Printing ISEP Reports (SIS-183951)

An error was generated when users tried to print the following reports:

  • ISEP Residential Verification
  • ISEP Residential Certification
  • ISEP Instructional Verification
  • ISEP Instructional Certification
  • ISEP Student Count Waiver

This issue has been resolved. The tribal code, space, and definition were truncated to a combined length of 50 characters.

California

California - CALPADS Student Information Extract Secondary Addresses (SIS-171932)

The CALPADS Student Information Extract has been updated to no longer report secondary households.

  • When a student has two primary households, both with addresses marked as mailing, the most recent household reports as residential and the other address reports as mailing.
  • When a student has a primary household with a primary address and a secondary address, the primary address reports as residential and the secondary address reports as mailing.

Delaware

Delaware Special Ed Summary Updates (SIS-183850)

An issue was fixed where the Delaware Special Education Summary Start Date did not align with the Evaluation dates after the student was no longer eligible.

Delaware Student Education Organization Associations Update (SIS-184147)

The Student Education Organization Associations resource has been updated to report a record when the student is only reporting a pre-registered enrollment. Trigger logic has also been updated to accommodate this "out of configuration year" situation.

Delaware Student School Associations Update (SIS-184170)

The Enrollment.startDate trigger on the Student School Associations resource has been updated. This update prevents an unknown transformation error from occurring.

Delaware State Code Trigger Update (SIS-184172)

The CourseMaster.stateCode trigger has been updated to properly update downstream Student Academic Records and Course Transcripts that are referencing this course (were posted to the transcript from this course).

Iowa-Reports Updated to Consider Cross-Site Enrollment (SIS-175518)

Iowa reports impacted by attendance, grade, or roster data were updated to include an 'Exclude Cross-Site Data' checkbox on the extract editors. The reports exclude records when the checkbox is marked (default) on the extract editor, and a student's course or section is designated as cross-site.

These updates support the release of Cross-Site Enrollment functionality in Iowa. The 'Exclude Cross-Site Data' checkbox only displays when the district enables the cross-site tool.

Wyoming – WDE950 Update for Percent Hathaway Course Requirement (SIS-182106)

The Percent Hathaway Course Requirement field has been added to the WDE950 Graduating Student Extract to report based on the Hathaway field on Transcripts.

Wyoming – Hathaway Field Dictionary Updates (SIS-184142)

The values for the Hathaway fields in Course, Section Student Detail, and Transcript have been updated.

Wyoming - Percent Hathaway Course Requirement (SIS-184509)

A Percent Hathaway Course Requirement field has been added to the Course Information editor. The numeric value entered in this field reports on the WDE950 StudentCourses field and indicates the percentage the course contributes to the Hathaway scholarship requirement. A value needs to be entered in the Hathaway field to add a percent value.

A Percent Hathaway Override field has also been added to the Section Student Detail tool. This acts as an override value for the field on the Course Information editor.
