The September 30th Attendance and Enrollment extract reports information about all primary enrollment records in regular day school, evening high school, and part-time programs.

Report Editor Fields

FieldDescription
Start DateEnrollment records on and after this date are eligible for reporting. Dates can be entered in mmddyy format or selected using the calendar icon.
End DateLast date used to return data. Dates can be entered in mmddyy format or selected using the calendar icon.
Run DatePopulates the Submission date field and special education status. It is used for calculations in the State Eligibility field of the extract (with a default value of the current date). 
Special Services DateUsed to determine a student’s FRAM, migrant, or foreign exchange status date.
EL Exempt Date

Date used to determine which reports are in the EL Exempt field. To report Y in the EL Exempt field, the student's most recent EL Identified date must be after the EL Exempt Date entered here.

Non-Public End Date

Date used to populate data in the extract for some students.

Exclude Cross-Site DataCross-site section enrollment data is not included in the report when checked.
  • Cross-site enrollment functionality must be enabled at the district level for the checkbox to display.
  • Defaults to checked.
First Day of School DateUsed for Pre-K Tier Status and Federal Poverty Level calculations.
Non-Public End Status

Used to help calculate the Exit Status and Exit Code fields.

Ad Hoc FilterSelect an Ad Hoc filter to limit report results to those students who meet the filter requirements.
Format

Determines how the report is generated:

  • Text (State Format)
  • Comma Separated (CSV)
  • HTML
Select CalendarsSelect the calendar of enrollment from which to pull student data.
Report GenerationThe report can be generated immediately using the Generate Extract button or later using the Submit to Batch button. See the Batch Queue article for additional guidance.

Generate the Extract

  1. Enter the relevant dates for filtering your results:
    • Start Date
    • End Date
    • Run Date
    • Special Services Date
    • EL Exempt Date
    • Non-Public End Date
    • First Day of School Date
  2. Select the Non-Public End Status
  3. Mark/Unmark the Exclude Cross-Site Data checkbox as appropriate.
  4. Select an Ad Hoc Filter if desired.
  5. Indicate the Format in which the report should be generated.
  6. Indicate the Calendar(s) to include in the report.
  7.  Click Generate Now or Submit to Batch.
