The Transition tool allows tracking of students who receive Special Education services to ensure they receive proper guidance to successfully be employed after high school. This information was previously reported on the Transitions editor of the IEP.
Overlapping records are not allowed, meaning only one active record is allowed at one time. However, a student may have multiple historical records.

Transition Detail Fields
The following fields are available.
Start Date
Indicates the start of the student's Transition plan. This is a required field.
End Date
Indicates the end of the student's Transition plan.
IEP Transition Plan
When marked, indicates the student has a transition plan as part of their Special Education services.
Integrated Employment Goal
When marked, indicates the student has goals and participated in services related to career development and job exploration.
Competitive Integrated Paid Work
When marked, indicates the student participated in services that support Paid Work Based Learning Experience in a competitive (at least minimum wage) integrated setting.
Individual Job Coaching Paid
When marked, indicates the student participated in services that include job supports/coaching.
Employed Competitive Work Setting
When marked, indicates the student participated in services that support Paid Work-Based Learning Experiences in a competitive (at least minimum wage) integrated setting.
