Tool Search: MOSIS Extracts
The MOSIS ASVAB extract generates a report of students who took the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) exam during the school year.

Report Logic
- Reports a record for any student who has taken the ASVAB test during the school year and was enrolled during the date range selected on the extract editor.
- Reports the latest High School Enrollment when there are multiple enrollment records for a student. Only one record reports.
- Only reports from High School Enrollments and Calendars.
- Reports the highest score when there are multiple assessments taken with different scores.
- When there are multiple assessments taken with different scores, all scores report from the assessment that has the highest Entrance Score.
- When there are multiple identical Entrance Scores that are the highest, the score from the latest test reports.
- All scores must have the same parent test.
Generate Report
- Navigate to the MOSIS Extracts editor.
- Select the ASVAB file from the Extract Type dropdown.
- Enter a Date Range.
- Optional: select an Ad Hoc Filter to narrow results.
- Select a Format, either State Format (CSV), tab delimited, HTML, or XML.
- Select which Calendar(s) to include on the report.
- Click Generate Extract.
