The Section 504 tool allows the recording of student's Section 504 program participation start and end dates. Staff can print a Summary Report of the Section 504 information.
Section 504 refers to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which provides protections for individuals with disabilities to participate in education, programs, activities, employment, etc. The definition for "individuals with disabilities" under Section 504 is more broad than the disability definition for IEPs and the IEP governing process.
At this time, there are no fields in the Section 504 tool that are specifically related to the state of Montana.. Please see the Section 504 article for more information on this tool.
