Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the North Carolina Department of Health.

DTaP

Rule	Requirements
6 months and younger No Requirement	Students 6 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the DTaP vaccine.
3 doses (7-18 months) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 7 months, but no older than 18 months old, and they receive three doses of the DTaP vaccine.
4 doses (under 4 years) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 19 months, but no older than 47 months old, and they receive four doses of the DTaP vaccine.
4 doses (4 years and older) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive four doses of the DTaP vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Polio

Rule	Requirements
4 months and younger No requirement	Students 4 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV Polio vaccine.
2 doses (5-18 months) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 5 months, but no older than 18 months old, and they receive two doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV Polio vaccine.
3 doses (under 4 years) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 19 months, but no older than 47 months old, and they receive three doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV Polio vaccine.
3 doses (4 years and older) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are at least 48 months, and they receive three doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV Polio vaccine. the difference between the third dose and previous dose is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 4 day tolerance. the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.
2 doses (4 years and older) In Progress	Students are considered compliant when: They are at least 48 months, and they receive three doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV Polio vaccine. the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is less than 5 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 6 months of the student's birthdate)
4 doses (4 years and older) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: They are at least 48 months, and they receive four doses of the IPV or IPV/OPV Polio vaccine. the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 48 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Hepatitis B

Rule	Requirements
2 months and younger No Requirement	Students 2 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
1 dose (3-4 months) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 3 months, but no older than 4 months old, and they receive one dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
2 doses (5-18 months) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 5 months, but no older than 18 months old, and they receive two doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
3 doses (19 months and older) Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: the student is at least 19 months old, the student receives three doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine, the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 24 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Measles Mumps Rubella

Rule	Requirements
11 months and younger No Requirement	Students 11 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR) vaccine.
1 dose 12-15 months Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are no older than 15 months old, they receive one dose of the Measles, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR they receive one dose of the Mumps, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR they receive one dose of the Rubella, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
2 doses M & M, 1 dose R Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive two doses of the Measles, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, OR they receive two doses of the Mumps, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, AND they receive one dose of the Rubella, MMR, or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.

Rule	Requirements
1 dose 12 and older Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are least 144 months (12 years) old, and they receive one dose of the DTaP or Tdap vaccine.
1 dose 7th grade and up Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are in state grade 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12, and they receive one dose of the DTaP or Tdap vaccine.
No doses 12 and Older Non-Compliant	Students are considered non-compliant when: they are at least 144 months (12 years) old, and they have not received any doses of the DTaP or Tdap vaccine.
No doses 7th grade and up Non-Compliant	Students are considered non-compliant when: they are in state grade 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12, and they have not received any doses of the DTaP or Tdap vaccine.

Meningococcal

Rule	Requirements
1 dose after 16 Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive one dose of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 192 months with a 4 day tolerance.
2 doses 17 and older Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 204 months (17 years) old, and they receive two doses of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.
1 dose 17 and older Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 204 months (17 years) old, and they receive one dose of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.
2 dose 12th grade Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are in state grade 12, and they receive two doses of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.
1 dose 12th grade Non-Compliant	Students are considered non-compliant when: they are in state grade 12, and they receive one dose of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.
1 dose 12-16 years Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 144 months, but no older than 203 months, and they receive one dose of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine
1 dose 7-11th grade Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are no older than 203 months, they are in state grade 07, 08, 09, 10, or 11, and they receive one dose of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.
No Doses 12 and older Non-Compliant	Students are considered non-compliant when: they are at least 144 months old, and they have not received any doses of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.
No Doses 7-12th grade Non-Compliant	Students are considered non-compliant when: they are in state grade 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12, and they have not received any doses of the MCV4 or MenACWY vaccine.

Pneumococcal

Rule	Requirements
6 months and younger No Requirement	Students 6 months old and younger are not required to receive any doses of the Pneumococcal vaccine.
5 years and older No Requirement	Students 60 months (5 years) old and older are not required to receive any doses of the Pneumococcal vaccine.
3 doses 7-11 months Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 7 months, but no older than 11 months, and they receive three doses of the Pneumococcal (PCV or PPV) vaccine.
4 doses 12 months and older Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they are at least 12 months old, they receive four doses of the Pneumococcal (PCV or PPV) vaccine, and the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 6 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 7 months of the student's birthdate).
3 dose catch up Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive three doses of the Pneumococcal (PCV or PPV) vaccine, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 6 months with a 1 day tolerance, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 11 months with a 1 day tolerance ((looks for doses within 12 months of the student's birthdate), the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 28 days with a 4 day tolerance, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
2 dose catch up Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive two doses of the Pneumococcal (PCV or PPV) vaccine, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 23 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 24 months of the student's birthdate), and the difference between the second and previous dose is greater than or equal to 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.
1 dose catch up Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive one dose of the Pneumococcal (PCV or PPV) vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 24 months with a 4 day tolerance.
1-2 dose catch up In Progress	Students are considered in progress when: they receive one dose of the Pneumococcal (PPV) vaccine, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 23 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 24 months of the student's birthdate), and the difference between the last dose and effective date is less than or equal to 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.

Rule	Requirements
5 years and older No Requirement	Students 60 months (5 years) old and older are not required to receive any doses of the Hib vaccine.
3 doses Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive three doses of the Hib vaccine, the difference between the second dose and the student's birthdate is less than or equal to 6 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 7 months of the student's birthdate), and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
3 dose catch up 7-12 months Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive three doses of the Hib vaccine, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 7 months with a 4 day tolerance, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 11 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 12 months of the student's birthdate), and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
3 dose catch up 12-15 months Compliant	Students are considered compliant when: they receive three doses of the Hib vaccine, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance, the difference between the first dose and the student's birthdate is less than 14 months with a 1 day tolerance (looks for doses within 15 months of the student's birthdate), and the difference between the third and previous dose is greater than or equal to 2 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose 10th grade and older Compliant Active Start Date: 7/1/2024 Active End Date: 6/30//2025	Students are considered compliant when: they are in state grade 10, 11, or 12, they receive one dose of the Varicella or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
1 dose 11th grade and older Compliant Active Start Date: 7/1/2025 Active End Date: 6/30//2026	Students are considered compliant when: they are in state grade 11 or 12, they receive one dose of the Varicella or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
1 dose 12th grade and older Compliant Active Start Date: 7/1/2026 Active End Date: 6/30//2027	Students are considered compliant when: they are in state grade 12, they receive one dose of the Varicella or MMRV vaccine, and the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than or equal to 12 months with a 4 day tolerance.
