How settlement dates populate in the Payments Reporter
For credit cards, settlement dates typically populate within 15 minutes, and the actual settlement date at that time is the transaction date plus two business days.
For echecks, the settlement date typically populates within two business days once the payment settles. Transaction fees display the settlement date first because they are assigned and do not require bank confirmation.
These estimates are not guaranteed and depend on what time of day the payment is made.
How funds are deposited
After a payment, how funds are requested to be deposited depends on a district's Payments Setup in Infinite Campus and the available balance in their Stripe account:
- If there is a single bank account, there is one deposit.
- If that same bank account is set up multiple times (with different bank account IDs), multiple bank deposits per day occur. Having multiple bank accounts also results in multiple deposits.
