Assessment
Student Identifier Strip Leading Zeros Update (SIS-178736)
In Steps 3 and 4 of the Assessment Center, leading zeros were displayed for the selected Student Identifier despite the 'Strip Leading Zeros' checkbox being marked. This caused matching errors when importing data that should not have leading zeros. This issue was corrected. When 'Strip Leading Zeros' is chosen for the Student Identifier field, the data in the mapping no longer displays nor imports leading zeros. The imported data matches the Student Identifier in the system.

Duplicate Assessments in Records Transfers (SIS-183217)
Validations for importing assessment data during records transfers were updated to prevent duplicates. Users now receive a warning for the following scenarios:
- Assessments have already been imported for the CURRENT record transfer.
- Assessments exist in the database for the same test, person, and date.
- User successfully transfers a record with an assessment record that is not in the database.

Information Icons Removed (SIS-185190)
The blue information icons in the data mapping column headers affected table scrolling and data mapping/importing functions. To enhance user experience, the information icons were removed.

Child Test Date Options Restored (SIS-187715)
There was an issue where child test date columns would lose their options button when remapping a column after the ""Apply to All Test Date Fields"" checkbox was unchecked on the parent test date. All tests under the assessment hierarchy (child, grandchild, etc.) now retain their options button as expected.

Child Test Import Update (SIS-187818)
The Assessment Center data import logic for child tests was updated to prevent:
- import if the parent test fails.
- save without a valid 'ParentID'.
An error message is generated to notify users that the Parent test creation failed.

Warning Message Added+ (SIS-188113)
Validation for Assessment Center file imports was improved. 'WARNING 1016' displays when a database column attribute is present in the imported file but not in the Core Attribute/Dictionary.

Campus Analytics Early Warning Update (SIS-188151)
The overnight process for generating Early Warning GRAD scores now includes historical data for the past five school years. Previously, scores were only generated for students with active enrollments, which prevented historical data from being included in the sync.

Assignment Flags Preventing Student Submissions (SIS-188382)
Previously, assignment flags prevented students from submitting their work for assignments with Submissions enabled. When any flag (Turned In, Missing, or Incomplete) was attached to a student's assignment, the submission option was unavailable regardless of the assignment's start and end dates.
Logic has been updated so that students can submit assignments within the start and end dates, even if a Missing or Incomplete flag is present. Marking the Turned In flag still closes the assignment from having submissions submitted.

Curriculum Library - Cartridge Import Error Message Update (SIS-188429)
The error message displayed when a file size limit is exceeded during curriculum import has been improved. If the file(s) attached to items in the imported curriculum exceed the file size limit of the Campus Digital Repository, the following message displays: "This resource could not be imported. The file exceeds the storage limits for the Campus Digital Repository." and files are listed.

Custom Forms
Custom Forms Versioning Enhancement (SIS-185327)
Interactive Custom Forms with Database Tables can now be versioned to preserve the configuration from a previous version. This allows users to correct typos, update verbiage due to state or district changes, or have a new form for the next school and keep a view of how the form changed over time. A new version of a database table form allows users to use the same database table for reporting and keeping the data together. See the Custom Forms Setup article for additional information.

Federal/State Angular Programs – Modifications to Filtering Records on the List View Screen (SIS-187033)
Filtering options have been updated for the following Programs: Pregnant & Parenting, Career and Technical Education, Career Readiness, Extended Learning Opportunities, At Risk, Alt Program,Dropout, Dual Language Immersion, District Residency, Support Environment, On Track, Funded Program, and Preschool.
Filters have been added for Start Date and End Date. The School Year filter has been removed. Users must select the Apply button to filter by data entered in any of the filters.
New filtering options have been added to improve the functionality of the FERPA program list view screen.
Users may select filter options, then Apply to limit the records being displayed:
- Start Date (new option)
- End Date (new option)
- School Year (modified to match school year entered in program record)

EL Service Types "Publish to Districts" Button Not Functioning in New Look (SIS-187351)
A bug that was preventing State Edition users from publishing EL Service Type Changes to District Editions in the New Look has been fixed.

Programs/Flags
Student Flags - Tool Rights, Subrights Modification (SIS-185372)
Users assigned Read and Write Tool Rights to Student Flags and the State Reporting subright for Student Flags could not edit a flag marked as State Reporting when it was also marked at Special Education.
Previously, tool rights were validated for subright precedence with Add rights. This has been updated to validate the subrights for Write rights instead.
As a general rule, the Special Education subright overrules the State Reporting subright, which means a user with only the State Reporting subright cannot modify a flag marked for both State Reporting and Special Education.
In summary:
- A user with RW rights to flags can edit existing flags.
- A user with RW rights to flags PLUS RW rights to the State Reporting subright can edit flags marked as State Reporting.
- A user with RW rights to flags PLUS RW rights to the State Reporting subright CANNOT edit flags marked as Special Ed and State Reporting. This requires the Special Ed subright to be assigned.

Roster Builder - Roster Builder Student Name Search Field (SIS-185543)
The Student Name Search field was reported to be slow in returning the list of student names or searched names and was more noticeable when there were more than 2000 or so students in the calendar. This has been corrected.

Walk-In Scheduler - Loading Courses from List of Requests Schedules Over Cross-Site Courses (SIS-187724)
When loading courses in the Walk-In Scheduler, that process placed a course in the same period as an already scheduled Cross-Site Course. This has been corrected. Using the Load option on the Walk-In Scheduler will not add a course to a period when a Cross-Site Course already exists.
As an order of operations when scheduling courses for the next year, the recommended and best practice is to schedule cross-site courses after all other scheduling has been completed. This is stated in the following articles:

Scheduling Board - Users with Read-Only Access Issue (SIS-187914)
Users assigned read-only access to the Scheduling Board/Scheduling Board Trials and not assigned Modify Rights to the calendar were still able to make changes to the Scheduling Board. This has been corrected.
The Modify Rights checkbox allows users to modify data within the calendar (in conjunction with their assigned tool rights). Without Modify Rights, users cannot modify any data, regardless of their assigned tool rights.

New Hampshire-Course Updates (SIS-186711)
Updates were made to course-related tools in New Hampshire:
- When users changed the 'Industry Credentials' field on Course Information or Course Master Information, the updates did not appear in the 'CustomCourse' database. This issue was corrected, and all changes made are accurately reflected in the system.
- The 'Industry Credentials' checkbox was duplicated on the Course Catalogs tool and now displays only once.

The K-3 Legislative Class Size (LCS) Reports have been updated to exclude course sections with the Instructional Provider field populated with a code of 20: Dual Language Immersion.
This affects the following reports:
- Class Size report for K-3 grade levels
- Class Size Violations report for K-3 grade levels
- Class Size Average report for K-3 grade levels

North Carolina - Records Transfer Sending State Code (SIS-187380)
Records Transfers were not sending the State Code Name for transcript records. This has been corrected.
Records Transfers previously performed with a missing State Code Name have been remedied by a one-time script that populates the State Code Name on Transcript entries where it is expected to have populated.
The Transcript Import Wizard has also been updated to display the State Code Name. Previously, this field was not shown.

North Carolina - PSU Name Change for MINA Charter School (SIS-187435)

North Carolina - Read to Achieve Updates (SIS-187462)
Three new fields have been added to the Read to Achieve program screen:
- *Attended Reading Camp* - Yes/No dropdown selection to indicate whether the student attended Reading Camp.
- *Proficient at the End of Reading Camp* - Checkbox to indicate whether the student is considered proficient at the end of Reading Camp.
- *Retained Student Who is Not Returning to the Same Charter* - Checkbox to indicates the student has been retained from promotion and will not be returning to the charter.
These fields display in the State Defined Elements card and all default to No/not checked.
Additionally, selections for *Program Exit Status* and *Exit Status Reason* options have been updated.

Protected Identity Information for new students and staff was not auto-populating when using the Student Locator or Staff Locator or the Assign NC Student ID for existing students. This has been corrected.

- Adding a new student via the Student Locator.
- Adding a new person using the Add Person tool.
- Assigning an NC State ID to an existing student and staff from the Demographics tool.

North Carolina - Term Type Override Not Populating for Cross-Site Courses at Home School (SIS-187959)
When cross-site courses were added at the home school, the Term Type Override value did not populate the Course Information and Section Information editors. This caused errors when DPI attempted to pull CTE data from the Home School.
This has been corrected. The Term Type Override field now populates and is visible at the Home School for Cross-Site Courses.

Ohio Student Standing (FS) Extract Performance Optimization (SIS-171328)
The Ohio Student Standing (FS) extract has been optimized to significantly improve performance and reduce processing time. This update addresses issues with long-running extracts and TempDB errors in the batch queue.

Oregon - Cumulative ADM Report Calculation for Multiple Enrollments, ADM Enrollment Date, ADM End Date (SIS-184529)
The following logic has been updated for the Cumulative ADM Report:
Logic for reporting a single EL Program record has been updated to report a record for each enrollment within the reporting start and end date based on the overlapping Identified Date and Exit Date. When there are multiple enrollments in the school year and the student ended and restarted enrollment, one record per enrollment for the EL 02 program that falls within each enrollment start and end dates reports.
Logic for the ADM Enrollment Date field has been updated to report the most recent Start Date of either the enrollment or the EL Identified Start Date, whichever is most recent.
Logic for the ADM End Date field has been updated to report the EL Program Exit Date when the EL Program Exit Date is earlier than the enrollment end date.

The Special Education Summary tool was added for South Dakota. This tool allows users to store and manage student Special Education state reporting data.
With this enhancement, the Special Education fields on the Enrollments tool are now read-only and will be removed in a future update. South Dakota reporting will be converted to reporting from the Special Education Summary tool.

South Dakota Special Ed IEP Updates (SIS-186411)
Several updates were made to the South Dakota Individual Education Plan, including:
- A new print format is now available, SD IEP 2025 and SD IEP with Transition 2025.
- Several text fields on the Present Levels of Performance, Consideration of Special Factors, Least Restrictive Environment, and Prior Written Notice editors were updated to be WYSIWYG text fields.
- The Prior Written Notice editor is now a list editor to accommodate multiple PWN records.
- The logic for pulling the "The student will turn 17 on..." field on the Transition Course of Study editor was updated to pull the student's Date of Birth from the Student Information editor.
- Several new editors were added: "Instructional Only Accommodations/Modifications," "Testing and Instructional Accommodations and Modifications," and "ESY Services."
- The State and District-Wide Assessments editor was heavily updated.
- The Remove ESY Service checkbox and Remove Based On text field were removed from the Special Education Services editor. The logic for the Specify Other field on this editor was also updated.
- A print issue was fixed where the order of classes displayed out of order. Editors marked as Not Needed do not print.

The calculation to correctly sum incidents with the State Event Code '61: Bullying' was also updated.

Texas-Truancy Date Fields Added (SIS-187728)
The Prevention Measure, Complaint Filed, and Excessive Absence checkboxes on the Texas Truancy tool were deprecated and replaced with date fields to align with TEA's method of collecting truancy information. The data was not converted, but districts can create Ad hoc filters to identify students with data entered for the 2024-2025 school year.

The ‘1056: Out-of-State Dual Enrollment’ code for Course, Section, and Roster has been replaced with the ‘1061: Out-of-State Dual Enrollment’ value. The program reference now sends correctly in the Sections and Student Section Association resources.
A script has been created to convert the 1056 code to the new 1061 code.
