Standards Setup Tool Rights

Staff such as Curriculum Managers or System Administrators use the Standards Setup tools to manage the alignment of standards, credit groups and grading tasks to schools and courses in the district. The Standards Bank that contains all the standards a district uses is maintained in this area.

To learn how to use these tools, see the articles in the Standards Setup category.

School Standard Setup

Districts use School Standard Setup to select the Credit Groups and Standard Groups that will be used at each school in the district.

Standards Alignment Wizard

Authorized school personnel can align grading tasks and standards to selected courses or course masters en masse. This can save time when used carefully in situations where this capability is applicable.

Standards Bank

A Standards Bank is used to create and organize state, district, and local standards and provides an organizational structure for all standards in the district. There is a subright that allows users to import standards into the standards bank.

Suggested User Groups

Delete rights should be assigned to only one or very few people. Typically, users of these tools have already been assigned one or more Product Security Roles that grant administrative-level access; therefore, a user group assignment is not necessary.

If your district's needs are different, you may choose to create a group that meets those needs.

See User Groups and Suggested Roles for more information.
