Tool Search: State to District
When the State to District Login workflow has been enabled, State Edition users with membership in a State to District Login user group can log in to a District Editon directly from their State Edition account.
This guide explains how to log in to a District Edition using the State to District Login tool.
Use the State to District Login tool to log in to a District Edition from your State Edition account. Before you start
- Administrator setup must be completed as described in the Enable State to District Login article.
- You must be a member of a State to District Login user group and have Calendar Rights to the district you're accessing.
- Be aware that for tools with RWAD tool rights, only Read-level rights can be assigned via a State to District Login group. For tools with all-or-nothing rights, full access is granted.
Note: The State to District Login tool is not available if you've used the Login as User option to access an account.
Log in to the District Edition
- Select a District from the list of available options.
- Select a User Group, which determines what tools rights you'll have in the District Editon.
- Click Login.
Impact
Once you click Login, you'll be brought to the District Edition. You'll have access to tools based on the tool rights assigned to the State to District Login user group. For tools with RWAD rights, you'll only have Read-level access. You'll have full access to tools that have all-or-nothing tool rights.
What's next
- You can only log in from the State to the District Edition using this State to District Login tool, you can't log in directly to your auto-generated account.
