16 incomplete The classic Grading Window (Grading and Standards > Grading Window) will be removed with the Campus.2024 Release (June 2020). Review the Grading Window - .2024 release notification for details.
Infinite Campus is moving to update all servers to ICAS (Infinite Campus Application Service) 2.0.6, which incorporates Tomcat 8.5.50 and Java 1.8.0_232
Each ICAS release has a Campus version dependency and will require its own update before moving to a higher version of Infinite Campus. In order to update to Campus.2020, your production site must be on Campus.2016, which will include ICAS 2.0.6.
Cloud Choice and In-District hosted customers on Campus 2012.x or lower, you will not be able to submit an update request for Campus.2020, as it is hidden from the Version dropdown until Campus.2016 has been installed. There are code dependencies in each package that require them to be taken separately, so a district must first request an update to Campus.2016 before you can upgrade to Campus.2020. Your district will only see versions up to Campus.2016.x in the Update Request tool, and not other updates that may have been released, until Campus.2016 and the associated ICAS package have been taken.
Self-hosted customers will need to install the ICAS package before or after updating to Campus.2016.x. For more information on how to install the ICAS package, please see the instructions that have been posted to the Self-Hosted Customers forum.

Academic Programs - GPA Requirement detail verbiage (SIS-133851)
The 'GPA Requirement' detail verbiage on a student’s Academic Planning, Progress tab was displaying incorrectly for Academic Programs when the Academic Program was assigned prior to another graduation or academic program. The verbiage in the GPA Requirements detail has been corrected to read, “Minimum GPA required for completion” when viewing progress for Academic Programs.

Academic Programs- Progress tab error caused by invalid credit type (SIS-136203)
When a student has met the Academic Program’s credit requirement for a credit type, and earns additional credit, the Progress tab displayed an error if the Credit Overflow Override on the course had an invalid credit aligned. This has been corrected to follow the Credit Overflow Rollup logic identified in the Credit Group Detail editor in Grading and Standards.

COVID-19 Attendance and Calendar Modifications (SIS-136720) [Enhancement]
To further assist districts in recording attendance for distance learning, modifications that convert assignment data into actual attendance data have been made:
- Attendance Codes - A new checkbox was added, called Allow assignment-based attendance modification. When marked on an Attendance Code, the code is made available for selection in Enable Attendance Posting on the Calendar. It is recommended that a new attendance code be created for this purpose, rather than adding the checkbox to a previously created code.
- Calendar Details - New attributes added in another update for distance learning have been reorganized into a COVID-19 Assignment-Based Attendance section. The following fields are available:
- Enable Attendance Assignment Insert (previously named COVID-19 Attendance Teacher Only). This indicates that a COVID-19 assignment should be created in every section of an attendance-taking course on an attendance day that it is scheduled in an instructional period. When the related Task runs, assignments are created. Subsequent fields are dependent on this field being checked.
- Enable Student Assessment (previously named COVID-19 Attendance by Student). This indicates that a quick assessment linked to the assignment created above will be created for students to enter attendance in Campus Student. When the related Task runs, assessments are created. Campus Learning must be enabled for this to happen.
- Enable Attendance Posting. This indicates that attendance will be posted to the attendance table based on scores and flags in the COVID-19 assignments when the related Task runs.
- Attendance Posting Date. This indicates the earliest date for which attendance will be posted to the attendance table. Every time the Task runs, attendance from the Start Date forward will be reviewed and updated based on scores and flags in the COVID-19 assignments.
- Attendance Posting Code. This indicates the Attendance Code that will be posted on the date/period when a COVID-19 assignment has scores or flags that indicate non-participation/absence. The list of codes is populated with the Attendance Codes that are checked marked for Allow assignment-based attendance modification as described above.

COVID-19 Attendance Update (SIS-137063) [Enhancement]
The COVID-19: Enable Attendance Assignments task has been updated to assign a Category Sequence of 99 to the Attendance Assignment that process creates in the Grade Book. Any existing Attendance Assignment categories have also been updated with this sequence.
This change limits the accidental use of that category by teachers when creating new assignments for their students.

Message Added to Warn Users Logging Out of Grade Book Prior to Saving (SIS-133006)
Users working within Grade Book and selecting the Log Out button prior to saving will now receive a warning message, preventing them from leaving the tool and losing the data unless confirmed.

Section Summary Report (SIS-136620)
Previously, some users experienced an abnormal termination error when generating the Section Summary report. This has been corrected for most districts and an additional case is being worked on to address this issue in districts where it is still occurring. If your district is experiencing this error after taking the Campus.2020 release, please submit a new Support case and Campus Support will link it to the outstanding issue.
This error occurs when generating the report in PDF format; Campus recommends using the .DOCX format as a workaround until this issue is fully addressed.

Ed-Fi – Error Log Updates (SIS-134369) [Enhancement]
A new user interface has been implemented to improve usability of the Ed-Fi Error Log. Users are now able to view errors by Summary by Resource/Table, Error Type & Resource, Person, School, Configuration, and Details. Users can also filter Error Log entries by Resource/Table Name, Error Type, Configuration, School, Calendar, Course, and Name.
The Error Log Retry and Archive options have been updated to take action only on filtered results.
The Ed-Fi Error Log extract report has also been updated to return results based on filtered options.

Import Standards - Selecting Item Types (SIS-135919) [Enhancement]
An option has been added to Step 4: Import Defaults in the Standards Import Wizard, which allows to user to indicate how each item type should be categorized in Campus. Source frameworks may include a wide variety of item types, but Campus supports only two: groups and standards. By default, parent items are imported as groups and child items are imported as standards.

The Schedule Builder has a new request conflict matrix interface built into the manual builder. By dragging a course onto the schedule grid, the builder algorithm ranks the three best placements for the new section based off the period slots with the fewest conflicts without sections and courses. Those best placements are highlighted, letting the user know the best place to schedule the section. The first ranked position is the same location the Auto-Build logic would choose if a single section were placed.

LDAP Authenticated Accounts Incorrectly Receiving Password Reset Emails (SIS-132882)
LDAP authenticated Campus accounts were incorrectly receiving a Forgot Your Password email notification when users selected this option on the Campus login screen. This email is an error because LDAP authenticated passwords are not reset or maintained by Campus but by your district’s Active Directory. This email notification was also then resetting the user’s local Campus authentication password. This issue has been corrected. Now, LDAP authenticated accounts will no longer send a Forgot Your Password email notification to users nor will it reset their local Campus authentication password.

Device-Based Two-Factor Authentication Add to Infinite Campus (SIS-136186) [Enhancement]
As an increased layer of protection for your Infinite Campus account, device-based two-factor authentication functionality has been added. Districts can now enable this functionality for all Staff and non-Campus Portal accounts via the Login Security Settings tool or for individual staff accounts via the User Account tab. Staff members themselves can also enable this functionality via the Account Settings tool.
When enabled, users will be provided with a time-based QR code and Text Code which requires the user authenticate their account using a device and an Authenticator application (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, LastPass, etc) where you must scan the QR code or enter the Text Code provided in order to finish logging into Campus.

Massachusetts – District Employment Degree Institution Fields Converted to Dropdown Lists (SIS-135896)
The Degree Institution 1, Degree Institution 2, and Degree Institution 3 fields found on the District Employment tab have been converted from a text field to a dropdown list. These fields have been populated with list of valid values and existing field values have been converted to a matching dropdown list value based on the 4 character code entered. If an existing field value code does not match a valid value, the field will be blanked out.

ESOL Model (field 170) reports blank when there is no active state service and the LEPELL field reports a value of RCV.
When the reporting period is June, 7th grade students report for the following fields. When the reporting period is not June, 7th grade students do not report.

Missouri - MOSIS Extracts Updates (SIS-136288)
Override for Reporting School
A new Reporting School field has been added to the State Reporting Enrollment editor. When populated, MOSIS Extracts report this value for the Reporting School.
- When the School Org Type or Calendar Type is set to AP: Alternative Program School, all students enrolled in the school report the value entered in the Residing School field on the Enrollment editor. If that field isn't populated, the State School Number reports.
- When the School Org Type or Calendar Type is NOT AP and the Reporting School field is blank on the enrollment editor, the State School Number reports.
DNR Values
The Educator Last Name and Educator First Name fields on the MOSIS Course Assignment Extract and MOSIS Student Course Completion Extract reports blank if the educator's Last Name first three characters is DNR. DNR also reports when the Report Protected Identities checkbox is marked and the Legal Last Name first three characters is DNR.
The Course Completion Comment on the MOSIS Student Course Completion Extract reports blank when the first three characters in the Course Comment field on the Course Editor are DNR.

The triggering logic in the Discipline Actions, Discipline Incidents, and Student Discipline Incident Association resources has been updated to not send records for students who do not have an active IEP that overlaps the discipline incident and resolution, and have a resolution that is not Expulsion or Out of School Suspension.
The triggering logic in the Discipline Actions, Discipline Incidents, and Student Discipline Incident Association resources has been updated to delete associated records when a student is removed from a Behavior Incident.
The triggering logic for the Student Discipline Incident Associations resource has been updated to report when the Removal Reason is changed on a Behavior Resolution.
An unknown transformation error that was occurring in the Discipline Incidents resource has been corrected.
