Classroom Monitor Tool Rights

Attendance Clerks use the Attendance Monitor to see which teachers have submitted attendance for the courses they teach. They can also enter attendance for teachers or substitute teachers (for example, when attendance is submitted on paper by a substitute teacher) by selecting a course section from the grid.

Virtual Attendance: Districts recording attendance for virtual classes can set Virtual Attendance Preferences that impact what displays in Classroom Monitor, as well as how teachers, students, and parents indicate participation in virtual classes.

School Months: Districts that allow attendance to be modified after a closed date of a School Month need to ensure the appropriate user group has:

  • At least RW rights assigned to Classroom Monitor
  • Modify Rights checkbox marked on the Calendar School Year rights
  • At least RW rights assigned to School Months OR
  • Close School Months checkbox marked on the Calendar School Year rights

RWAD
  • View information displayed in the Classroom Monitor tool. 
  • Generate Incomplete Teacher Attendance report.
  • Access teacher Contact links.
  • Select and view course section rosters.

  • Enter or modify/save changes to selected course section roster attendance.
