Campus Instruction - Changes for Grading Window Enhancements (SIS-132981) [Enhancement]
Tools in Campus Instruction related to posting grades have been updated to accommodate recent Grading Window changes, which allow the grading window to be open for some students in a section and not others. Updates have been made to the Grade Book, the Post Grades tool, and the Multi-Post Grades process.
- Grade Book
- Rows in the Posted area of the Grade Totals section display in white for students for whom grades can be posted and grayed out for students where the grading window is closed and a hover text explanation was added.
- Post Grades
- When posting by Task, grades cannot be entered or selected for students for whom the grading window is closed.
- Multi-Post
- This tool has been updated to the workflow style of a wizard, with the different steps displayed across the top and improved visual design. The majority of functionality has not changed.
- Where the list can be filtered, an Open filter has been added to filter to only students for whom the grading window is open.
- Commenting options have been expanded, including additional fill options and the option to individualize comments by student.

Recording Attendance for Distance Learning (SIS-136511) [Enhancement]
Campus has implemented a stop-gap measure that allows schools who have recently moved to distance learning model to record attendance. This solution allows teachers or students to record attendance through assignments.
Some of the steps in this process were updated in SIS-136720 in the Campus.2016.1 Rx release pack.
To enable this process:
- Set the calendar attribute to the type of attendance taken, either individually by calendar in System Administration > Calendar > Calendar, or for all calendars in System Administration > Custom > Custom Attribute > Calendar. Options are:
- COVID-19 Attendance by Teacher Only (available in all districts): teachers record attendance through attendance assignments.
- COVID-19 Attendance by Student (available in Campus Learning districts only): students can mark their own attendance through attendance assignments. Do not mark this option if your district does not have a Campus Learning license.
- Open the Task Scheduler in System Administration > Preferences and enable the "COVID-19: Enable Attendance Assignments" job.
When this job is enabled, a grading task called COVID-19 Attendance is added to each course as needed when attendance would normally be taken for the course. The job is run when enabled and every morning and an Attendance assignment is added to the COVID-19 Attendance grading task if the Day is marked as Attendance. These assignments are not included in grade calculations by default.
If attendance is taken by the teacher, a teacher can mark a student as Turned In or give them any score other than 0 to record the student as present, or mark a student as Missing or give them a score of 0 or leave the score blank to record the student as absent. If the attendance is recorded by the student (Campus Learning only), a one-question quick assessment is added to each Attendance assignment, which allows students to mark themselves as present.
An update that converts this assignment data into actual attendance data is forthcoming. Infinite Campus fast-tracked the data collection part of this solution to get it in the hands of teachers as soon as possible.

Turned In Assignments Added to Flagged Assignments Report (SIS-136525) [Enhancement]
Assignments flagged as Turned In can now be included in the Flagged Assignments report. Additionally, a task selector has been added to the extract editor that allows a teacher to limit report results to the selected grading task(s) and standard(s). When tasks are selected, the report generates results from all instances of that task across all sections of the student's schedule, including sections not taught by the user.

The new Grading Window, released in Campus.1941, now includes the ability to open Grading Windows for specific course sections, specific students, specific grade levels, a specific student and course section, and a specific grade level and course section.
Grading Window Exceptions allow administrators to open a grading window for a particular reason without opening the window for all teachers in the school - a teacher missed the original deadline for posting grades, a student is moving out of the district and needs their latest scores posted, or the last day of school for the senior class is a week before other students.

Edit Check Report Logic Update (SIS-132255) [Enhancement]
The Edit Check report can now report secondary enrollment data when a student has a secondary enrollment. Previously, the Edit Check report's enrollment counts were only based on students' primary enrollments.
As part of this change, a new field called "Food Service Edit Check" was added to the Calendar tool. Districts can choose from the following options.
- Default to Blank - No Override. When you use this option, the Edit Check report's enrollment counts for this calendar are based on student's primary enrollments only.
- Do not use this calendar for enrollment counts. When this option is selected, primary enrollments in this calendar are NOT included in the Edit Check Report IF the student has a secondary enrollment in a different calendar.
- Use this calendar for enrollment counts. When this option is select, the Edit Check report includes all primary and secondary enrollments from this calendar.

The following modifications have been made to the CALPADS PSTS Extract:
- A single line reports for each Postsecondary Status Code the student has assigned.
- A records reports for any student who has an Enrollment End Status of 100, 120, 250, 320, 330 or 360, and a CTE record with a Pathway Completion Date.
- Field 7, Academic Year ID, reports the year of enrollment as CCYY+1. Meaning, a value of 2019-2020 reports for an enrollment record in the 2018-2019 school year.

The following DIS triggers for FRYSC Group Programs were updated to ensure data is properly and accurately syncing from district to state:

When a user selects "Staple this document to an existing form" when uploading a document, the Arc Meeting Date, Arc Date, and Arc Decision Date display for the KY Evaluation/Eligibility Determination, KY Consent for Evaluation and the KY Conference Summary, and the KY Referral, respectively.

Several updates have been made to the Montana Special Ed area. Updates to the IEP include:

- When N/A is selected for the Assessment dropdown, all other fields are not grayed out. When "Smarter Balanced", "ACT", "Science" or "ACCESS for ELLs" is selected for the Assessment dropdown, the Alternate checkbox becomes grayed out and all other fields are read only until the With or Without Accommdations is selected. If "Alt Science", "Multi-State Alt Assessment (MSAA)", or "Alt ACCESS for ELLs" is selected for the Assessment dropdown, the Without and With Accommodations checkboxes are grayed out and all other fields are read only until "Alternate" is selected.

Ohio - Chronic Absenteeism Information on Attendance Tab (SIS-133913)
The Chronic Absenteeism Information section of the Attendance tab has been updated to use an Ohio-specific calculation. Fields calculate as follows:
- Absenteeism Percentage: calculated as Hours Absent divided by Scheduled Hours (YTD).
- Scheduled Hours (YTD): The total district-wide hours the student is scheduled from the beginning of the school year through today.
- Chronically Absent: If the Absenteeism Percentage is 10% or greater, displays as YES. Otherwise displays as NO.
- Hours Absent: The district-wide sum of all excused and unexcused absences for the student, from the beginning of the school year to today.

- A print issue with the PLAAFP editor areas printing multiple times has been fixed.
- An Extended School Year checkbox has been added to the Plan Goals editor.

The following modifications have been made to the PIMS Special Education Snapshot:
- Field 49, Educational Environment Percentage (December and July Reporting Periods) only reports when Field 44, Educational Environment, reports a value of 19, 20 or 21.
The following modifications have been made to the PIMS Student Template and Student Snapshot for the December and July Reporting Periods:
- Field 167, Special Education Referral, reports from the Special Education Referral field on the Special Education Enrollment Editor. A value of Y reports when the checkbox is marked; a value of N reports when the checkbox is not marked.
- Field 217, District Code of Enrollment, reports first from the District of Enrollment field on the State Reporting Enrollment editor. If that field is blank, the State District Number (System Administration > Resources > District Information > State District Number) is used. If the student is considered a Part Time CTE Student, the District Code reports from the Resident District field on the State Reporting Enrollment editor. If that field is not selected and the student is Part Time CTE, a value of 999999999 reports.

Pennsylvania - PIMS Staff Assignment, Staff Template, Staff Snapshot Report Terminated Employees (SIS-133767)
The following modifications have been made to PIMS Staff related extracts to now include terminated employees:
- A Prior Reporting Date has been added to the Staff Snapshot Template. When populated, the report includes staff who are current employees and past employees. The End Date on the District Employment record is used to determine current or past employees. When the End Date is populated, past employees are included when the end date is on or within the entered report generation dates. When the End Date is blank, the employee is considered currently employed.
- When the Reporting Period is October, the Staff Assignment, Staff Template and Staff Snapshot extracts:
- Staff do not report when the District Employment qualification Status is populated.
- When it is populated, Field 2, Staff ID, reports from the State Staff ID field on Demographics.
- When the Reporting Period is June, the Staff Assignment, Staff Template and Staff Snapshot extracts
- Staff do not report when the Qualification Status is populated.
- When it is populated, Field 2, Staff ID reports from the License Number field on the District Employment record. If License Number is not populated, Staff State ID field reports. In both instances, the number is preceded by SS.

The following modifications have been made to the PIMS Student Snapshot and Student Template Extracts:
- Address fields (fields 16-20) report an address when the address end date is on the effective date entered on the report editor. If there is no active address or active household as of the entered effective date, the most recent mailing address reports.
- Field 212, Assessment Participation Code, reports the default value of B when the student is enrolled in State Grades 003-008 when the Assessment Participation field on the Enrollment record is blank.
- A Report All Addresses checkbox has been added to the Student Template and Student Snapshot report editor. When marked, address fields (fields 16-20) report for each student record. When not marked, address fields report for Special Education and CTE students only.

Wisconsin - Ed-Fi Grades Updates (SIS-134739)
