Activity Registration

Option Purchased Added to Activity Roster (SIS-141708) [Enhancement] 

A new column called "Option Purchased" was added to the Activity Roster. Users can now see the Item Name the buyer selected when they completed Activity Registration in Campus Parent or Campus Student. The Export to Excel tool was updated to include the Option Purchased column.

Student Grade Added to Activity Roster (SIS-148235) [Enhancement] 

A new column called "Student Grade" was added to the Activity Roster and displays the grade in which the student is enrolled. The Export to Excel tool was updated to include the new Student Grade column.

Activity Registration Maintenance (SIS-151125)

The following improvements were made to Activity Registration.

  • When creating an Activity Proposal, the schools selected now display as read-only fields on Step 1 Build Roster.
  • In the classic view of Campus, the link to view new proposals from a notification was not working. This was corrected.
  • If a user does not have access to a School in the context menu for a current or future year, the School field will no longer automatically populate on Step 1 of the Activity Builder or Activity Proposal tools.
  • When there were multiple pages of activities to view on the Activity Dashboard or Activity Monitor and the user was on a page other than 1, Campus was returning the user to page 1 after they clicked View to see details about a specific activity. This issue was corrected.

Grade Book - Grading Task Sort Order (SIS-106285)

Previously, tasks and standards used in composite or rollup grading were not sorted in the correct order in the Grade Calc Options. This has been corrected.

Previously, students displayed in report editors as dropped for a section if they were rostered into a different section of the same course. This has been corrected. Attempting to Upload a File with an & in the Name (SIS-149708)

Grade Book - Rubrics that Include an 'M' Score (SIS-150928)

Previously, if a teacher scored an assignment using a valid rubric score that began with 'M,' the score was not correctly auto-filled and the teacher incorrectly received a message about marking the assignment as missing. This has been corrected.

Grade Book - Assignments Outside of Enrollment (SIS-151249) [Enhancement] 

An indicator has been added to the Grade Book to indicate if an assignment is due outside of a student's enrollment in the section. In this situation, a small grey triangle displays in the bottom left corner of the score cell; if the student has a score for this assignment, the triangle is orange. These unintended scores may occur as a result of syncing scores from another LMS. Teachers may want to Exempt students from assignments outside of their enrollment, or clean up these scores in some other way prior to posting grades.

Campus Student & Campus Parent - Updates (SIS-133672)

Various updates and small improvements have been made to Campus Student and Campus Parent, including the following:

  • Previously, attendance displayed incorrectly for Kentucky users if a student end enrollment and re-enrolled in the same calendar. This has been corrected.
  • If users with access as both a parent and a staff member, clicking the Infinite Campus logo in Campus Parent would redirect them to the district edition. This has been corrected.
  • The Schedule tool sometimes showed lunch periods assigned to incorrect periods. This has been corrected.
  • Previously, locker assignments did not display in Campus Student if the locker number and lock matched a previous assignment that had ended. This has been corrected.

Address Change Report Returning Inactive Students (SIS-105591)

Logic has been updated to the Address Change Report to only include students whose address start or end dates fall within the reporting range during the time they were a member of a household.

Saving Student State ID Fields With “Pending” or “Incomplete” Values (SIS-109497)

A save in the Demographics tab was prevented in cases where more than one student had a Student State ID field auto populated with a status of “Incomplete” or “Pending.” This has been fixed. The Student State ID field requires unique values except when hard-coded values of “Pending” and “Incomplete” are populated.

Addresses marked as ‘Mailing’ for a student did not display (mailing) behind the address on the Person Summary Report. This has been fixed.

If a name was entered in Census > Demographics with quotation marks (Andrew “AJ”), it prevented End Dates from saving in Household Membership. This has been fixed.

Forward Slash Character Symbol in Local Student Number Fix (SIS-121854)

If a forward slash symbol was entered into the Local Student Number field in Demographics and saved, future changes to the Demographics tab including the removal of the character were prevented. This has been fixed to allow edits and entries to fields in Demographics including edits to the Local Student Number field.

Ended Household Member Ability to Modify Contact Preferences (SIS-126229)

Individuals who are no longer considered a member of a household (the individual has a Dropped Membership in a household with an End Date in the past) still had the ability to modify contact preferences for that dropped membership in Campus Parent/Campus Student. This has been corrected.

The Student Education Organization Associations resource has been updated to report the correct primary address when a student has a primary household and a secondary household where the membership starts on the same date, but the secondary household start date is after the primary household start date.

An unknown transformation error occurring when trying to close the CampusJPAExecutionContext after retrieving the token header has been fixed.

The error message for an unknown transformation error occurring in the Student Education Organization Associations resource when an invalid Home Primary Language is entered has been updated.

Federal/State Program Updater Back Button Fix and Error Message Updates (SIS-150261)

The Federal/State Program Updater has been updated to preserve File Import overlap logic when the Back button within the tool is selected.

Lunch Count Report Update (SIS-144430) [Enhancement] 

The Lunch Count Report was updated to report "0" instead of "N/A" when zero is actually submitted for the lunch count. This change makes it easier for users to identify whether the Lunch Count was entered. The report will show N/A only if the teacher does not submit attendance for the section.

Bank Reconciliation Tool Error Corrected (SIS-150511)

The Bank Reconciliation tool on the Deposit Reporter was not generating a report unless there was a Request Start Date or Request End Date entered on the editor. This issue was corrected and the report now generates without a Request Start Date or Request End Date.

The MS Rollover line on the Deposit Request Report was replaced with Adjustment In/Adjustment Out lines in order to better display what the rollover comprised and allow the user to match the detail within the Deposit Reporter.

School Store

Update to Fix Products Being Removed from User's Cart (SIS-148713) [Enhancement] 

Employees whose User Account homepage is set to Campus Application can now complete the checkout process in the School Store on the Campus Parent Portal. Prior to this change, the School Store was removing the product from the user's cart and they could not complete their purchase. This issue was corrected.

Data Change Tracker User Groups (SIS-141745)

Arizona

Arizona - Ed-Fi Resources Enrollment Updates (SIS-150341)

The ‘ZZZ - Same school calendar transfer - Do NOT report to state’ value has been added to the State Start Status and State End Status fields on Enrollments.

The logic in the Student School Association resource has been updated so that if the enrollment end status is ZZZ, the end date is not sent. The Student School Association resource logic has also been updated so that if a student has multiple consecutive enrollments where the end status is ZZZ and the start status is ZZZ, only one resource is reported where the start date is the earliest start date of the enrollments (start status is something other than ZZZ) and the end date is the latest end date of the enrollments (end status is something other than ZZZ).

The end date logic in the Student Education Organization Responsibility Associations and Student Special Education Program Associations resources has been updated so that the enrollment end date used is the same end date used in the Student School Associations resource.

The end date logic for all needs and programs in the Student Needs and Student Programs Associations resources has been updated so that the enrollment end date used is the same end date used in the Student School Associations resource.

Any student switching calendars in the same school/grade needs to have their enrollments updated so the initial enrollment has a ZZZ end status and the subsequent enrollment has a ZZZ start status.

A validation check was also added to report any students that have an enrollment with an end status of ZZZ, but no follow-up enrollment that is in the same school, grade, and local service type that starts the next instructional day.

Michigan - General Collection & Student Record Maintenance Attendance Calculation (SIS-151329)

The Attendance component of the General Collection and the Student Record Maintenance extracts has been updated to return to calculating Daily Attendance. Daily Attendance reports all students, regardless of Reporting Period, based on the MSDS Attendance Model selected for the grade level of their enrollment. If MSDS Attendance Model is Minute Based or null, students are considered Whole Day Present if they are absent for 50% of minutes or less, and Whole Day Absent if they are absent for more that 50% of daily minutes. If MSDS Attendance Model is Period Based, students are considered Whole Day Present if they are absent for 50% of scheduled periods or less, and Whole Day Absent if they are absent for more that 50% of scheduled periods. To report, scheduled periods and Days must be marked as Instructional and Courses must be marked as Attendance. If students exit and then re-enroll, attendance is calculated from the latest enrollment. If Start Status is 01, 04, 07, 14, 15, 16, or 17, attendance is aggregated from all enrollments from the same school and school year.

Additionally, the Attendance Start Date has been removed from the extract editors.

Missouri MOSIS Student Core Extract Updates (SIS-130760)

Several updates have been made to the MOSIS Student Core Extract. Reporting logic has been updated on the following fields:

One Prior 10 Day Attendance reports N when the following conditions have been met:

  • the student's Enrollment Start Date is equal to the report generation September Count Date when the reporting period is October,
  • the student's Enrollment Start Date is equal to the report generation January Count Date when the reporting period is February,
  • the student's Enrollment Start Date is equal to the report generation December Count Date when the reporting period is December and the Optional Fields Allowed checkbox is marked.

This field continues to report blank in the April and June reporting period.

ICAP and ICAP Review report as required when the reporting period is June. When the reporting period is October, December, February, or April, data is only reported when the Optional Fields Allowed checkbox is marked.

Associate Degree and Associate Degree Institution report as required when the reporting period is June. When the reporting period is October, December, February, or April, data is only reported when the Optional Fields Allowed checkbox is marked.

KG Physical Well-being and Motor Skills, KG Social and Emotional, KG Cognition and General Knowledge, KG Approaches Toward Learning, and KG Language and Literacy report as required when the reporting period is October. When the reporting period is October, December, February, or April, data is only reported when the Optional Fields Allowed checkbox is marked.

For the KG Readiness fields, logic has been updated to first report the value entered in the KG Readiness tool, then the Attribute Dictionary. If both are blank, "U" is reported.

Montana - Section 504 (SIS-150405)

The Section 504 tool has been turned on for Montana districts. At this time, there are no fields in the Section 504 tool that are specifically related to the state of Montana. As part of this update, the following changes were made.

  • The 504 checkbox on the Enrollment tool was deprecated.
  • The current year plus 3 years of historical data has been converted.
  • Logic for the Program Participation Import and Export was updated to not report 504 Participation data.
  • A new Import and Export Type called "Section 504 Participation" was added to the MT Data Upload tool and the MT Extracts tool. The Section 504 Participation Upload/Extract can be used to import and export Section 504 Participation data from the district's SIS system and upload that data into Campus.

Pennsylvania PIMS Programs Fact Updates (SIS-150302)

A new checkbox, EOY, has been added to the PIMS Extract editor when the Program Fact Report Type is selected. When marked, any Program with a End Date of blank or after 06/30 of the Calendar Year, the Ending Date field reports the Calendar End Date in YYYY-06-30 format.

Multiple records for one program code can now report. The End Date of the Program now also reports in YYYY-06-30 format (YYYY being the End Year).

The Beginning Date field reports in 07/01/YYYY format from either the Flag Start Date, Homeless record Start Date, or PA Instruction Mode Start Date (with YYYY being the Beginning Year).

When the EOY checkbox is unmarked for codes 055 : Homeless Unaccompanied and 056 : Homeless Accompanied, the End Date from the Homeless tool reports.

When the EOY checkbox is unmarked for the codes 060 and 061, the End Date reports from the PA Instruction Mode tool.

When the EOY checkbox is unmarked for all other program codes, the End Date reports from the Flags > Student Flag Detail > End Date or Program End Date.

The following fields have been updated on the Virginia Student Record Collection: the Special Ed Student Placement Code, Special Ed Student Regular Class Percent, and Special Ed Primary Disability Service Percent of Date report as required for all Report Types with the Primary Disability is populated. When the Primary Disability code is 15, these fields report blank for all reporting periods.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin - Ed-Fi Grades Resource Updates (SIS-147104)

The Grades resource has been updated to send the correct Student Section Associations reference when a student drops from a multi-term class, receives a grade, and then re-enrolls in the same class.

The trigger logic for the Grades resource has also been updated to send when a student is given a grade for a reportable course/section with a mapped grading task.

The Grades and Student Section Associations resources have been updated to not send if there is a School Override value populated on the enrollment that is different from the school for the enrollment record.

A resync on the Grades and Student Section Associations resources needs to be completed with this update.

Wisconsin - Ed-Fi Grades, Student Section Associations, and Staff Section Associations Updates (SIS-150417)

The Grades, Student Section Associations, and Staff Section Associations resources have been updated to no longer do a GET on Courses from the API to help improve performance when resyncs are performed or data is sent via triggers.

An error message has been added to the Ed-Fi Error Log that occurs when a resync is performed on the Course Offerings resource for a course with an invalid state course code.

Wisconsin - Dual Enrollment Ad hoc Field (SIS-150983)

The Dual Enrollment field on the Course editor has been moved from the Custom Data Elements section to the Course Information section. With this change, the Dual Enrollment field in Ad hoc Reporting has been modified to report from the Course Information section instead of the Custom Data section, using the courseInfo.dualCreditCode in the Filter Designer (available at this location: Course > Course Information > courseInfo.dualCreditCode).

A Dual Enrollment field is also available on the Course Section editor. A separate Ad hoc Field is available for that element (available at this location: Course > Section Information > sectionInfo.dualCreditCode).
