Infinite Campus is expanding our SIS functionality with Cross-Site Enrollment for Intradistrict and Interdistrict enrollment.
We recognize that districts and schools frequently share students when specific courses of interest are unavailable at one location. By enhancing this functionality, both districts and schools will have an automated system for sharing courses, rosters, and student information. Records will no longer need to be manually duplicated.
Our SIS currently has Intradistrict with Cross-Site Enrollment, allowing students to be enrolled at more than one school within a district. Expanding this functionality will enable students to participate in Interdistrict enrollment and take courses in more than one Infinite Campus school district, within the same state.
Once fully available, Infinite Campus will be the only SIS on the market that allows for Cross-Site Enrollment in more than one district!
What is Cross‑Site Enrollment?
Cross-Site Enrollment allows students to take a class at another school within the district or another school within the state that is not offered at their local school, or their local school doesn't provide the services that the student needs in a certain way, or the course that is offered at their local school doesn't fit the student's schedule.
Using the Cross-Site Enrollment framework, this sharing of students and course offerings consolidates the setup needed by the district and the participating schools.
Infinite Campus offers the following options:
- Intradistrict Participation: Students can take courses at another school within the same district.
- Interdistrict Participation: Students can take courses at another school in a different district in the same state.
- Intradistrict and Interdistrict Participation: Students can take courses at another school within the same district and at another school in a different district in the same state.
Student data, course offerings, enrollment information, and attendance information are seamlessly shared with all districts.
