Activity Registration Maintenance (SIS-163724)
The following updates have been made to the Activity Registration tool:
- Spacing on step four of building an Activity via the Dashboard has been corrected.
- Multi-selects on step one of building an Activity have been updated to be consistent with one another.
- When selecting 'Review' on a proposed Activity, the 'Additional Forms Pending' option could be unchecked on step three. This has been corrected.
- Some saved data under 'Description' on a proposed Activity was removed if the Activity was returned and the user made any changes in step four. This has been corrected.
- The Proposal Response pop-up was updated to improve accessibility/text readability.
- The Auto-Lock info icon now pops up a box with additional information to improve accessibility with screen readers.

A new Student Photo Extract checkbox has been added to the Data Extract Zip Tool. Choosing this checkbox creates a zip file of the picture directory that includes only those students who have an enrollment record in the selected active school year.
When creating the Student Photo Extract zip file:
- The Delivery Mode of PULL is not available.
- The Frequency options are Weekly and Monthly (not Daily).
- The Start Time for a weekly or monthly frequency is between 10:00pm and 4:00am only.
This checkbox is NOT available in State Edition.

Fee Payments - Fee Surplus (SIS-159109)
When using a fee surplus from a student's fees to pay a fee for another student in the household, a payment that is less than the total surplus amount could not be used.
Surpluses can only be applied to fees for the selected student. When a surplus is available, the payment of a fee comes from the surplus amount for that student only.

GPA Stored Procedures and Class Rank Views (SIS-156542)
GPA Stored Procedures have been optimized for performance and to include new Class Rank logic
The new Class Rank logic uses the new Class Rank Include checkbox on Local End Status. Students are excluded from Class Rank calculations when:
- Class Rank Exclude is marked on their enrollment record; OR
- Their enrollment record is ended. UNLESS:
- Class Rank Include on the Local End Status linked to the enrollment is set to 1 OR
- The State End Status Code value is set to 1.
This logic applies to the core GPA calculations and to Custom GPA calculations created by a district.

Grading Setup
Pushing Categories from the Course Level (SIS-129285)
When a category is pushed from the Course to a Section that already has a category with that name, a ""(1)"" is added to the end of the name of the existing category at the section level. This logic was causing an error if the updated name exceeded the 50 character category name limit. This has been corrected.

Updates to District Control of Grading Setup (SIS-158628) [Enhancement]
The Push All Course Masters tool has been updated as follows:
- Added a Push Mode to Overwrite existing course and section level data. Note: if there are already grades and/or scores associated with the existing grading setup at the section level, that data is not overwritten.
- Added the option to specify which data should be pushed to courses/sections in the Data to be pushed section.
- Added the option to submit a push request to the Batch Queue. When the tool is run to update grading setup (whether by selecting Run Now or Submit to Batch), the results display in the list on the tool editor, with the summary report available in the Download column.
A new Residual Data report was added to the Grading & Standards reports, which is used to track the grading setup that was not overwritten when course masters were relinked to courses/sections because of existing grade and/or score data.
Additional updates have been made to district-level grading setup tools:
- The Course Audit report has been updated to improve performance and add a summary option for simplified results.
- Added Ignore Master Push checkboxes to both the Course Info tab and at the Calendar level.
- Add the CourseMaster ID to the to of the Course Master Information.
- Updated the Course Grading Tasks, Standards, Categories, and Grade Calc Options tools with icons that indicate which items are locked at the Course Master level, unlocked at the Course Catalog level, no longer linked to a Course Master, or managed at the Course level.

Pushing Grade Calc Options to the Section - Weighted Mean (SIS-159979)

Search
Recent changes to the search framework in Campus have resulted in several tables being removed from MS SQL Change Tracking. See this article for more information.
Search in New Look of Infinite Campus Updated to Reinforce Reliability (SIS-159598) [Enhancement]
The underlying technology used for performing searches within the New Look of Infinite Campus has been changed. This change was needed to ensure users are given a consistent and reliable experience. This change also impacts the student and staff locator search tools for customers who are not self-hosted.
The overall user experience has remained largely the same with the following differences:
- Search results are now sorted alphanumerically instead of best match.
- Instead of synonyms, person-related searches use strict name matching with the exception of advanced fuzzy searches which use nysiis phonetics. This applies to the new look as well as the student and staff locators in both the classic view and new look.
- Users must now hit the search button in order for results to appear.
- Users can no longer do opened ended/no criteria searching. You must enter search criteria when search Person, Household, Address, and Course Master.
- Instead of unlimited search results, the number of results is based on the district-defined system preference.

California - Incorrect Count for Monthly Attendance Summary, Monthly Attendance Register (SIS-160928)
The following updates have been made to the Monthly Attendance Summary:
- Total Grades now reports the correct count of all grades included in the report.
- IS now reports the correct totals for Independent Study students.
- Gap Gains and Gap Losses now includes ALL students who start on the first day or end on the last day of the school month.
The following updates have been made to the Monthly Attendance Register:
- Independent Study Days counted for Apportionment (Code ISC) now reports for days that are ISC.
- ISC Codes now show for the days where it is the most common attendance code.
- The legend of attendance codes now includes ALL attendance codes, including Tardy. It also includes the assigned Attendance State Code to indicate whether one is assigned. If there is no state code, an asterisk displays.

Two new validation groups, 'Homebound' and 'Alternative Education', have been added to the Data Validation tool. The related validation rules assist users with locating and resolving student data issues:

This allows a value greater than the calculated number of instructional days in the calendar to report. Ohio - Student Attribute Effective Date (FD) Update (SIS-165506)
Previously students with EL or Homeless records active during their enrollments were only reporting two records, instead of three as expected by the split record logic. This has been corrected. On the Pennsylvania Enrollments tool, the BIDS School Number, BID AUN, and PASA Testing Agency AUN fields have been changed to dropdown fields.
The PIMS Student Template, PIMS Student Snapshot, and Special Education Student Template reports have been updated to report the value selected in the new dropdown fields from the Enrollments tool.
The CTE Student Fact Template Cert Apprentice (field 35) and Degree Awarded (field 36) fields now report blank when the corresponding checkboxes on the CTE tool are not marked.

AND - Any primary enrollment that is not the most recent that was active on or before the extract Effective Date and:
- Overlaps an IEP
- Has a Special Ed Program Exit Date on or before the extract Effective Date
- Falls within the calendar year associated with the enrollment
- The most recent primary enrollment that has a Start Date on or before the extract Effective Date and an active IEP during the primary enrollment date range.
- IEP-based fields from the most recent, locked IEP active during the primary enrollment.
- Records for enrollments that align with the 'Choose Grades' field selected on the extract editor.
