Advanced Attendance and Appointments Release Notes (2026)

The Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is a custom tool available only to districts that purchase it. The Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is part of the Campus Workflow Suite.

Release notes provide applicable personnel the ability to review enhancements, modifications, and corrections included in a release pack prior to accepting an update. It is recommended that users review the release notes carefully and notify the appropriate district staff of any changes to the product.

The Advanced Attendance and Appointments Release Notes describe the changes included in the release pack that may impact users who use the Advanced Attendance and Appointments tools as add-on functionality to their existing student information system.

Questions or concerns regarding an update should be directed to Campus Support.

The following Release Notes are available:

Advanced Attendance and Appointments Version 2.5.57 (2/27/2026) 

This version of the Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is compatible with Campus.2551 and later.

NOTE: There is no Advanced Attendance and Appointments Version 2.5.56 due to an internal issue when creating the 2.5.56 package. Districts can upgrade from 2.5.55 (or earlier) to 2.5.57 without issues.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the grade levels droplist in Hall Pass History was sometimes out of order.  (CDP-4622) 
  • Fixed an issue where students with a SPED or Secondary enrollment were not showing up on the Hall Pass History Report.  (CDP-4656) 
  • Fixed an issue where the Classroom Attendance Kiosk wasn't flagging attendance as having been taken in the Classroom Monitor and Teacher Attendance tools.  (CDP-4684) 
  • Fixed an issue where hall passes were no longer appearing in the Parent Portal Hall Pass History Report.  (CDP-4686) 
  • Fixed an issue where the Fill Up/Down buttons in Absence Request Processing weren't functioning as intended. They will now (by default) grab the new code from the period the student is checking into/out of and allow users to use the Fill Up/Down buttons immediately upon entering the Attendance Grid without needing to change a code. The Fill Up/Down will happen from the period the student is checking into/out of. If the student is checking in during passing time, it will initially use the code selected by the user prior to opening the Attendance Grid and fill up from the passing time. If they are checking out during passing time, it will initially use the code selected by the user prior to opening the Attendance Grid and fill down from the passing time. Regardless of which scenario is taking place, users can still change a code anywhere in the grid and then use the fill up/down buttons to fill up/down from that spot, using the code they selected.  (CDP-4820) 
  • Fixed an issue where the start/end of day check for the Check In/Out Scanner was incorrectly preventing users from opening the scanner.  (CDP-4822) 

Advanced Attendance and Appointments Version 2.5.55 (2/6/2026) 

This version of the Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is compatible with Campus.2543 and later.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Export from the Sign Out Audit Report would sometimes duplicate rows.  (CDP-4368) 
  • Adjusted the wording on the Notify Parent/Guardian Tool Tip in Scanner Settings to clarify the settings functionality.  (CDP-4446) 
  • Fixed an issue where the school day time check was sometimes using the wrong period schedule when a school had multiple calendars or schedule structures. This prevented some students from checking in/out during certain times of the day.  (CDP-4584) 
  • Fixed an issue where Hall Pass Type options in the Student Portal were not swapping correctly when a student was switching between their enrollments.  (CDP-4641) 
  • Fixed an issue where processing an Arrive Late or Leave Early absence request for the same day that a Full Day absence request was already processed (for the same student) resulted in no attendance being taken. (CDP-4734) 

Advanced Attendance and Appointments Version 2.5.54 (1/28/2026) 

This version of the Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is compatible with Campus.2543 and later.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the Classroom Attendance Kiosk not processing attendance. (CDP-4770) 

Advanced Attendance and Appointments Version 2.5.53 (1/23/2026) 

This version of the Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is compatible with Campus.2543 and later.

Enhancements

  • Removed the Hall Pass option from the Workflow Roll Forward Tool since it is no longer Calendar Scoped and doesn't need to be rolled forward. (CDP-4720)
  • Added a validator to the Custom Scanner Name field to let users know the maximum length of a Custom Scanner Name (27 characters). (CDP-4198)
  • Added the ability for parents to upload a document to an absence request even after it has been submitted or processed. This puts the absence request back into a Submitted status so districts can review the document and make changes to the attendance as needed. (CDP-4114)
  • The Document Upload checkbox in District Wide Scanner Settings has changed to a droplist (with added tooltip) to clarify its functionality. NOTE: If document upload is marked as required, the parent must upload a document at the time of submission. If documents can be uploaded after the request has been made, be sure to mark document upload for the absence request as optional. (CDP-4114)

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where every schedule structure was showing up in the Attendance Grid instead of just the schedule structure the student was a part of. (CDP-4717)
  • Fixed an issue where the Sign Out Audit Report was giving an Internal Server Error when there were results to display. (CDP-4715)

Advanced Attendance and Appointments Version 2.5.52 (1/9/2026) 

This version of the Advanced Attendance and Appointments toolset is compatible with Campus.2543 and later.
