Health vaccines and their associated compliance listings are based on state guidelines. While Infinite Campus maintains standard guidelines for all states, districts have the ability to enter additional compliances. The following information describes vaccine compliance rules as defined by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

General Compliance

  • Vaccine doses administered less than or equal to 4 days before the minimum interval or age are considered valid.
  • Doses administered 5 days earlier than the minimum interval or age are not considered valid doses and must be repeated as age-appropriate.
  • Half doses or reduced doses of a vaccine are not considered valid.

Immunization Rules

The following tables describe Idaho immunization requirements per vaccine.

MMR

Compliant Status

Condition

2 doses

  • Includes 2 MMR, 1MMR 1M1M1R or 2M2M2R
  • First dose on or after 12 months of age
  • At least 28 days between doses
  • Birthday on or after 9/2/1999

1 dose

  • Includes 1MMR or 1M1M1R
  • On or after 12 months of age
  • Birthday on or before 9/1/1999

In progress

If a student who is not compliant has a dose within the past 28 days and on or after 12 months of age, the student has an In Progress compliant status.

DTap Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis, combined

Compliant Status

Condition

4 doses

  • Birthday on or before 9/1/99
  • 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age
  • Difference between the 2nd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between the 3rd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between the 4th dose and previous is at least 4 months

4 doses

  • 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age
  • Difference between the 2nd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between the 3rd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between the 4th dose and previous is at least 6 months
  • 4th dose on or after age 4

5 doses

  • 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age
  • Difference between the 2nd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between the 3rd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between the 4th dose and previous is at least 6 months
  • Difference between the 5th dose and previous is at least 4 months

In Progress

If a student who is under age 7 is not compliant and one of the following is true, the student has an In Progress compliant status.

  • A dose that is within the last 28 days and on or after 6 weeks of age
  • 2 doses with last dose within the past 28 days, 2nd dose at least 28 days after the first and 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age
  • 3 doses with a dose that is within the last 6 months, 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age, and all doses separated by 28 days
  • 4 doses with a dose that is within the last 6 months, 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age, first 3 doses separated by 28 days and last 2 doses separated by 6 months

In Progress

If a student who is age 7 or older is not compliant and one of the following is true, the student has an In Progress compliant status.

  • 1 dose within the past 28 days
  • 2 doses with the last dose within the past 56 days, the first dose before an age of 12 months and at least 28 days between doses 1 and 2
  • 2 doses with the last dose within the past 6 months, the first dose after an age of 12 months and at least 28 days between doses 1 and 2
  • 3 doses with the last dose within the past 6 months, the first dose before an age of 12 months, 28 days between the first two doses and 56 days between the 2nd and 3rd doses
  • 3 doses with the last dose within the past 60 months, the first dose after an age of 12 months, 28 days between the first two doses and 6 months between the 2nd and 3rd doses

Polio

Compliant Status

Condition

3 doses - Compliant

  • 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age
  • At least 28 days between all doses
  • Children born after September 1, 1999 through September 1, 2005

3 doses born after 9/1/05

  • 1st dose on or after 6 weeks of age (4 day tolerance)
  • At least 28 days between doses 1 and 2 (4 day tolerance)
  • At least 6 months between doses 2 and 3 (4 day tolerance)
  • Last dose on or after 4 years of age (4 day tolerance)

In Progress

If a student who is not compliant has 1 dose within the past 28 days that is on or after 6 weeks of age, the student has an In Progress compliant status.

3 doses - In Progress

If the student has two doses and the difference between last dose and effective date is less than or equal to 6 months, the student has a 3 doses - In Progress compliant status.

Hepatitis B

Compliant Status

Condition

3 doses

  • Difference between 2nd dose and previous is at least 28 days
  • Difference between 3rd dose and previous is at least 56 days
  • Difference between 3rd dose and 1st dose is at least 112 days
  • Difference between 3rd dose and birth date is at least 168 days

In Progress

If a student is not compliant and one of the following is true, the student has an In Progress compliant status.

  • 1 dose within the past 28 days
  • 2 doses with 28 days between doses and a dose within the past 56 days
  • 2 doses with 28 days between doses and the first dose is within the past 112 days

Tdap Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, and
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine.

1 dose Grades 7-11 20-21

Compliant

Active Start Date: 07/01/2020

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 
  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 132 days with a 4 day tolerance.

2 dose Grades 12 20-21

Compliant

Active Start Date: 07/01/2020

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student is in state grade: 12
  • the student receives two doses of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine,
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 132 days with a 4 day tolerance, and
  • the difference between the second dose and the previous is greater than 56 days with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose Age 16+

Compliant

Active Start Date: 07/01/2020

Students are considered compliant if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the student's birthdate is greater than 192 months with a 4 day tolerance.

1 dose

In Progress

Active Start Date: 07/01/2020

Students are considered in progress if the following conditions have been met:

  • the student receives one dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine, and
  • the difference between the last dose and the effective date is less than 56 days with a 0 day tolerance.

No dose Grades 7-12

Non compliant

Active Start Date: 07/01/2016

Students are considered non compliant if they are in state grade: 07,08, 09, 10, 11, 12 and have not received any doses of the Meningococcal (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine.

Varicella

Compliant Status

Condition

Born before 9/1/05 - No Requirement

Birth end date = 9/1/05

2 doses - Compliant

  • 2 doses Varicella or MMRV
  • First dose on or after 12 months of age (4 day tolerance)
  • At least 28 days between doses (4 day tolerance)

1 dose - In Process

Last dose of MMRV or Varicella is within the past 3 months

Hepatitis A

Compliant Status

Condition

Born before 9/1/05 - No Requirement

Birth end date = 9/1/05

2 doses - Compliant

  • 2 doses Hepatitis A
  • First dose on or after 12 months of age (4 day tolerance)
  • At least 6 months between doses (4 day tolerance)

1 dose - In Process

Last dose of Hepatitis A is within the past 6 month
