Tool Search: Digital Learning Applications
This article describes the types of connections available for Digital Learning applications, both OneRoster and LTI.
Visit the Digital Learning Partner Program and scroll to Supported Applications to see a list of vendors and what types of connections they support.
OneRoster
See the OneRoster API article for more information about what a OneRoster connection is.
Connections with Roster Sync enabled can request section and roster data from Campus.
This type of connection is also called "Provisioning." |
Connections with Grade Book Sync enabled can send assignment and score data to Campus.

Standards-Based Grading
Syncing standards-based grading is not currently possible via the OneRoster API as it is not supported by the specification. Assignments can only be aligned to one task or standard and scores can only be entered as numerical values, not the rubric-style scoring commonly used for standards. Imported assignments must use a scoring type of Points.
LTI (Learning Tool Interoperability)
Both types of LTI connections require a Campus Learning license.
Connections with Learning Tool enabled display in the Learning Tools list for teachers, students, and parents (if configured). Specific pieces of content from the partner program can also be aligned to assignments. | Connections with Score Passback enabled allow teachers to integrate an assignment in a vendor program with a Campus assignment, score assignments in the vendor program, and have those scores display in their Campus grade book. |
Connections with Assignment Resource enabled allow teachers to align resources from the application with a Campus assignment, which students can then access through Campus Student. | Connections with Embeddable Content enabled allow teachers to embed an image from the application in the Summary of an assignment, which students can then view in Campus Student. |

Unsure of whether your district has a Campus Learning license?
Search for the Campus Learning Usage tool in Campus. If you can access this tool, then your district has an active Campus Learning license. If your district doesn't have a license and is interested, request a quote.
