Tool Rights Added for Yearly GPA (SIS-175446)
A 'Yearly GPA' calculation option was added in the Campus.2347 release. Only users assigned to an SIS Product Security Role could run ad hoc reports using the related data elements. This update allows any State Edition user assigned 'Yearly GPA' tool rights to access and use the Yearly GPA data elements in an ad hoc filter.

Test Score Attributes Marked as Hidden (SIS-175209)
There was an issue with test score attributes displaying on individual tests under Student Assessment and under the Score Fields section of Test Detail in the Assessment Center despite being marked as hidden. This issue has been resolved. A test score attribute does not display on an assessment or as an option under Score Fields when the 'Hide' checkbox is marked for the score attribute under the Test Score section of the Core Attribute/Dictionary.

New Curriculum Library and Reflections (SIS-173616) [Enhancement]
A new Curriculum Library has been released for Campus Learning customers. Using the Library, teachers can
- Share folders of curriculum.
- Easily add curriculum created by other teachers to their sections using the Curriculum Copier.
Currently, curriculum is shared by folder. Teachers can add metadata Details to their curriculum prior to sharing it, such as Subject and Grade Level, to help other teachers find it. Teachers may remove curriculum they've shared to the library, and users with the Curriculum Library District Manager tool right can remove any curriculum from the library.
When searching the library, enter search terms, or filter the library by Grade Level, Subject, or Standards. Click View to look at the items within a folder and add to section. Curriculum can be added by folder, or as individual pieces. When adding curriculum, teachers can set up grading details as part of the add process or save that task for later.
This release also includes a new tab in Assignments and Resources called Reflections. Reflections allow teachers to record how a piece of curriculum performed in their class via a short survey. Over time, as teachers can build up a record of how effective curriculum is and how well it works in their classes. To add a Reflection, click the Reflections tab on an assignment or resource and answer the questions that display. The questions vary from reflection to reflection to collect a variety of data about the curriculum, but some questions are included in every reflection.

There was an issue with the Early Warning graph not retaining settings when a user navigated to a student's detailed information and then returned to the graph using the "Close" button. This has been resolved so that the graph will retain its settings for the length of the session.

Insights Dashboard Updated to Reflect Assigned Tool Rights (SIS-175043)
The Insights Dashboard has been configured so the side panel visualization drop list and aggregate view only display reports the user has tool rights to access. When the user does not have the necessary tool rights to view a report, the quadrant displays the message "Please click Configure to select an Insight Report".
Additionally, drill-in functionality has been added to the Aggregate Dashboard to allow a user to double-click on a region in the visualization to display a detailed grid of the student data to which that region refers.

Early Warning Scores Generate After Enrollment Ends (SIS-175445)
There was an issue with Early Warning generating GRAD scores for students after their enrollments ended. This has been resolved. Early Warning has been updated so that the API no longer generates daily scores for a student whose enrollment has ended. This update also enables State Editions to filter on the last update to distinguish which score is the valid GRAD score when a student moves between districts in the same State.

When the tool's Update Mode was set to "EL, Pending, Not EL" some students were being skipped and returned in error reports as "EL Record Already Exists". Functionality has been corrected so that student records that meet criteria will be updated as expected.

Grades Reporting
Student Information Grades - Improvements (SIS-175627) [Enhancement]
As a result of feedback received about the recent redesign of the Grades tool, additional updates and improvements have been made. Overall, the Grades tool has been redesigned to lessen empty space and display more data at a time. The height of headers for courses the rows for grades have been reduced and icons such as assignments and comments display next to grades instead of below them. Cells for Posted grades display as blue and cells for In-Progress grades display as yellow. A Setting has been added to hide the words ""In-Progress"" if the color-coding is enough of an indicator.
Additionally, the Grades tool has been updated to display with all courses in the Terms view and Categories in the course view as expanded by default; the Setting to collapse all is still available and the Settings the user selects are remembered they next time they come to the tool.
New tool rights have also been added to more closely control which users can see GPAs. Rights have been added for GPA, with subrights for Term GPA, Rolling Cumulative GPA, and Cumulative/Custom GPA, with an additional subright for Class Rank. Only the R(read) level of rights apply for these new tool rights.
The following issues have also been addressed:
- Corrected how multi-aligned assignments display.
- Updated how grades display when a course has duplicate Grading Tasks.
- Updated sort order and display of custom GPAs.

Health Reports Updates (SIS-151354)

- when an Ad hoc filter is selected, the Effective Date entered on the extract editor is applied to the Ad hoc filter.
The following logic update has been made to the Immunization Compliance Summary report:
- the report now generates when no Exemption Codes are available for selection. In this instance, the Compliance Total column for Exemptions does not display.

Special Ed PDF Copy Formatting Fix (SIS-174106)
Previously, formatting issues occurred when a PDF copy was made of a Special Ed Document in certain instances, including amending an IEP with the Special Ed Preference, ""Auto End Date the previous locked plan when a new Plan is locked with overlapping dates,"" is turned on or when transferring a Special Ed Document from one district to another. This issue has been fixed and now PDF copies of Special Ed Documents created in these instances are exact duplicates.

A new Accept Incoming Score Comments option has been added to the Connection Configuration section of OneRoster connections that use OneRoster 1.2. If left unmarked, comments are not received and any comments entered in Campus are not overwritten.

OneRoster - Staff at Sites with No Students (SIS-174831)

Indiana-Gifted Tool Added (SIS-168784)
A new Gifted tool has been added for Indiana users. It includes the 'High Ability Type' data component that is currently located under the Additional Student Information section of the Enrollment record. This new tool:
- Allows for multiple high ability programs to be reported for a single student.
- Provides the option to specify start and end dates outside of the enrollment period.
- Supports the reporting of a reason exited descriptor.
A data conversion will be implemented for the current academic year to address high ability type information specified on student enrollment records.

Indiana-Ed-Fi-Logic for Migrant Education and Immigrant Education Removed (SIS-170739)
The Indiana Department of Education has ceased the collection of data from SIS vendors for the Immigrant Education and Migrant Education programs. Code related to these programs has been removed from the Student Program Associations resource to reflect this change.
A resync of the Student Program Associations resource is required as part of this update.

Indiana-Ed-Fi-Student Program Associations Updated for Virtual Education (SIS-170740)
A new Virtual Education tool was added for Indiana users (see SIS-168780). It incorporates the 'Virtual Student' and 'Distance Learning' data components located under the State Reporting Fields section of the Enrollment record. Logic for Object Triggering and Data Elements on the Student Program Associations resource has been updated to report data from the new Virtual Education tool instead of the Enrollment record.
A conversion script has been implemented to create Virtual Education program records for all students with an active enrollment in the current academic year where:
- 'Virtual Student' value is 1 or greater.
OR - 'Distance Learning' checkbox is marked.
Existing values have not been removed from Enrollment records. The 'Virtual Student' field and 'Distance Learning' checkbox will remain enabled on the Enrollment page for the time being.
A resync of the Student Program Associations resource is required as part of this update.

Indiana-Ed-Fi-Course Result Override Included in Course Transcript Logic (SIS-174090)
An 'Ed-Fi Course Result Override' field was added under the Additional Information section on the Transcripts page in the Campus.2351 release. Logic for 'courseAttemptResultDescriptor' in the Course Transcripts resource has been updated to consider this field:
- When 'Ed-Fi Course Result Override' is populated with a value that is mapped to an Ed-Fi Code in Resource Preferences, report that Ed-Fi Code.
- If 'Ed-Fi Course Result Override' is blank or not mapped to an Ed-Fi Code, the "standard" reporting logic is followed (comparisons between Earned Credits and Attempted Credits).
A resync of the Course Transcripts resource is required for any records with a value entered for 'Ed-Fi Course Result Override'.

An "Ed-Fi Transcript Term Override" category has been added to the Indiana Student Academic Records Resource Preferences. The "If Ed-Fi Transcript Term Override is blank or not mapped" field reports the "Ed-Fi Code" value entered in the mapping for any manual transcript where the Ed-Fi Term Type is blank or set to a value that is not mapped.
A resync of the Student Academic Records Resource is required as part of this update.

Indiana-Ed-Fi-Recognition Award Date Logic Updated (SIS-174556)
There was an issue with the "recognitionAwardDate" element on the Student Academic Records resource not reporting for each unique recognitions entry. This issue has been resolved. The "recognitionAwardDate" element reports the Diploma Date for both "Employability Skills" entries and "Post-Secondary Competencies" entries.
A resync of the Student Academic Records resource is required as part of this update.

There was an issue with alphabetic characters in the State District Number and State School Number not being converted to numeric digits. This issue has been resolved. All Ed-Fi Resources that use 'educationOrganizationReference' / 'educationOrganizationId' have been updated to convert alphabetic characters to numeric digits prior to being included in the JSON.

The Virginia Student Behavior and Administrative Response Collection (SBAR) has been redone for the 23-24 reporting year. Previously, the SBAR had sections A, B, C, D, and E. The new SBAR only has an A and B section with all of the elements from the C, D, and E sections reporting in the A or B sections. The previous format for the report still exists for historical purposes.
