Tool Search: State Reporting

The Special Education State Reporting tool allows users to store and manage student Special Education state reporting data. This tool removes the legal burden of having a Special Education team meeting to amend the setting for age-based changes, such as an early childhood student aging out. Users can use one tool to manage students' data without modifying their special ed documents.

Early Childhood Program Evaluation

The Early Childhood Program Evaluation section allows users to enter reported Special Ed data that is not stored on a student's document. Overlapping records are NOT allowed.

Select an existing record or click New to open the Early Childhood Program Evaluation detail screen.

Evaluator Name	The name of the evaluator.	This field is limited to 50 characters. This field is for reference only and does NOT report. Database: SpecialEDStateVT.evaluatorName Ad hoc Inquiries: Student > State Reporting VT > evaluatorName (v_SpecialEDStateEarlyChildVT.evaluatorName)
Evaluator Ed-Fi ID	The Ed-Fi ID of the evaluator.	This field is limited to 15 characters. Database: SpecialEDStateVT.evaluatorEdFiID Ad hoc Inquiries: Student > State Reporting VT > evaluatorEdFiID (v_SpecialEDStateEarlyChildVT.evaluatorEdFiID)
Social Emotional Outcome Score	The student's social-emotional outcome score. Options include: 7: Demonstrates age expected skills with no concerns. 6: Demonstrates age expected skills however we have some minor concerns. 5: Demonstrates many age expected skills, but does not have all age expected skills. Might be described like that of a slightly younger child. 4: Demonstrates occasional use of some age expected skills, but more of the skills are not age appropriate. Might be described like that of a younger child. 3: Demonstrates occasional use of some age expected skills, but more of the skills are not age appropriate. Might be described like that of a younger child. 2: It is not demonstrating age-expected skills but has a greater mix of earlier skills. Just beginning to show immediate foundational skills. 1: Demonstrates very early skills like that of a much younger child. No immediate foundational skills. Y: Indicates student was evaluated as having made progress since entry. N: Indicates student was evaluated as not having made progress since entry.	When the Evaluation Period is Initial or Progress, then options 1-7 display. When the Evaluation Period is Exit, then options Y and N display. Knowledge and Skills Outcome Score	The student's knowledge and skills outcome score. The options available in this dropdown are the same as the Social Emotional Outcome Score field. Behaviors Outcome Score	The student's behavior outcome score. The options available in this dropdown are the same as the Social Emotional Outcome Score field.
